His eyes are a dark brown, intriguing and...beautiful. His hair sticks up in the front, black and sort of frizzy. He has stubble running along his chin, with a minor mustache. He's a few inches taller than me and he's looking down at me with those dark eyes of his. "I-I..."
I blink.
"I'm sorry, what did you say again?"
He smiles, "Your keys?" He holds them in front of me.
"But allow me, your hands are full."
I just stare awkwardly as he unlocks my door for me, then pushes it open. I nearly trip on my way in, bending my knees to support the load of the bags. "Thanks again."
"Yeah," He puts his hands in his pockets, shifting his weight on his feet. "You seem pretty new to the area. I haven't seen you around here."
I nod and start placing the bags on my kitchen counters. "Just moved here from Port Orchard, Washington."
He nods, "Well, welcome!" He chuckles. "If you ever need anything, feel free to stop by. I'm apartment 17."
I smile, a nervous wreck.
"Speaking of stopping by...Would you like to have dinner with me tonight? I-I'm not hitting on you or anything. I just haven't had company in quite a while." He shrugs.
I nod, "Yeah, that'd be great."
I tuck stray strands if hair behind my ear consciously. "What time?"
He looks around the kitchen and starts heading for the door, "Let's say....six?"
I instinctively look at the clock.
"Okay, sounds good."
"Okay." He smiles, backing up towards the door.
"Okay."
He pokes his head in just before shutting the door.
"Okay."
We just had a TFIOS moment.
