Cameron's POV:

"Jordan!" I screamed, thrashing against the crowd, beating my fists against a tall guy's chest. He was wearing red flanel.

"Whoa there, darlin'," he said in a southern drawl. He picked me up by the shoulders once we were outside and moved me to the far right of the crowd. "What're you doin'? Yer pretty crazy- wantin' to run back in there like that."

"My boyfriend is in there!" I shoved him out of the way and ran back towards the door.

"Where are you going?" He yelled, holding out his hand to try and grab me, "The place is goin' up in flames!"

I shoved people out of the way, pushing as hard as I could. I heard the southern man yelling for the authorities.

I felt a strong grip on my arm, a vice.

Without even looking at them, I kicked and screamed, but it was no use. The person lifted me up and hoisted me over their shoulders, I screamed louder. "Let me go!!"

I coughed, I apparently got some smoke in my throat.

"Jordan!"

Chris' POV:

I rested my face in my hands, looking at the floorboards of my hotel room. I heard the ticking if a clock coming from the kitchen, making me more anxious.

I glanced at my cell on the coffee table in front of the couch, waiting for it to light up from a call. The hospital calling, letting me know he was alright.

That wouldn't happen.

They probably wouldn't call me anyways. They'd probably just call his family.

They know he's famous, so they're even more strict on the "family only" rule.

I sighed and looked outside, taking in the view of LA.

I looked over at Cameron, asleep on the couch. Still wearing her clothes from the outing. Her face was still a little black from the ash, the tears she has shed leaving a trail, cutting through the gunk.

She looked so peaceful like that....

I looked back out my window, tapping my foot, sucking in breaths.

The view got blurry, and the lights became fuzzy, yellow and blue orbs.

The lights wavered as I leaned back into my chair, finally letting a quite sob out.

"God damn it...."
