A year after Koro-sensei died, nearly everyone went their separate ways. Occasdionaly enough, they try to keep contact with each other. A single groupchat with at least two hundred notifications once every two weeks.

Three weeks into high school and our sniper duo kept contact on personal reasons. Meeting each other half way through and walking to the station together, then part ways.

"The sakuras are almost gone." Chiba stated.

Hayami nodded. "Enjoy it while you can."

Chiba looked at his hand and extended his index finger straight like a gun. "Hayami?" He spoke, directing her attention towards him.

Looking at his gun-like hand, she assumed he missed shooting. Or perhaps, Koro-sensei and the days in E-Class. "What's wrong?" She asked.

Pointing his finger at her heart, he softly mumbled. "Bang."

Hayami's expression remained stoic, but she was confused. Was Chiba not satisfied at the fact that the two never went against each other in some way or another? Or was he really missing E-Class?

In that case, he could've pinpointed his finger towards the birds in the sky. There were plenty.

"W-what are you trying to do?" She struggled to say.

"I'm shooting Cupid's arrow." He answered, grinning.

Hayami's cheeks were tinted with red, this was the first he ever confessed to her even if it was indirect. For the previous dates they've been on, Hayami confessed first. Chiba answered saying that it was what he intended to say, and took her a on dates only to end awkwardly.

"Bullseye." She remarked.
