"But theoretically, I'd win." Hayami remarked as she entered her codename. Before walking into the open and leaving Chiba standing there pondering how'd he win against her, she stopped to turn around and said. "However, if you had shot me at least once then I'd do whatever you say."
It was a simple deal they had made.
Neither had any of the two snipers had ever gambled like Rio Nakamura and Karma Akabane, interested as the two were, they decided to make a bet on a group hangout along with Kanzaki, Sugino, Nakamura and Sugaya.
And with that, the somewhat prideful Hayami walked into the open.
Chiba caught on and ran behind her, but when he got into the open, Hayami had nowhere to be seen.
Strange...He thought someone would use Hayami and His technique from the civil war, when they managed to gain the first kill by shooting those who ran in. Chiba had never played laser tag before, but was a little familiar due to the game being similar to civil war.
Bang!
He turned to his gun. He had been shot by 《Hayami》, so neither did she knew what to use for her codename?
Chiba looked away from his gun and turned to Hayami, who seemed to have an uneasy expression when she saw Chiba walking slowly towards her. In the dark, the latter couldn't tell wether she was gazing into his eyes or eyebrows. Hayami's least favourite subject was Physics, but once Chiba had told her that she was the only one who had ever looked directly into his eyes apart from Koro-sensei.
Hayami stepped back as he moved closer, his right hand slammed into the wall above her left shoulder. Hayami could barely see yet she could feel the breath of her sniping partner tickle a little on her forehead.
"Chiba-"
Before she could speak for any longer, he leaned in closer and as he tilted his head slightly, Chiba pecked her on the lips. Then, he grabbed his gun out and shot her.
"Can you tutor me on biology now? I don't quite understand what my teacher is saying, I only assumed that only private school teachers uses words from 600 BC." Chiba asked.
