"Honey don't overwork yourself.."
"I'm fine (Y/n)! Don't worry" he was over his desk working on something. The problem was it was past midnight.
"Nicolas come to bed this moment!" If you're wondering who these people are, they are the Clauses. As in Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.
"I'm almost finished so go ahead to sleep I'll join you shortly." He spoke in a thick Russian accent
"You said that yesterday!" She understood that Christmas was coming up but she didn't want her giant teddy bear to feel too tired.
Nicolas stopped what he was doing and looked at his wife.
"Believe me, I am fine now please go to sleep. For me?" He caressed her face.
"Nick... I love you but I really miss having you next to me in bed" she grabbed his hands.
"I promise once Christmas is over it's gonna be you and me time for the longest!"
"Yeah until you forget about me again.." she mumbled hoping he wouldn't hear her, but he did.
He grabbed her shoulders and hugged her
"I'm sorry my love, I'll come to the bed right now"
"Really?"
"Really."
The happy couple shared a kiss and walked to their bedroom. They got changed into their pajamas and snuggled up in bed.
"I love you my teddy bear.."
"I love you too sugar lumps.."
The wife soon fell asleep and St. Nick crept out of bed, trying hard not to awake his wife. He walked out the bedroom and sat back down at his desk. He checked the clock and it was now one o'clock. He sighed and went back to work.

(Y/n) Claus woke up and noticed that her husband wasn't next to her anymore. She sighed and walked out of bed, putting on her plush slippers before walking out the bedroom. She walked over to her husbands desk and found him sleeping on a pile of paper. She smiled at the sight and let him sleep.
She walked towards the kitchen and brewed some coffee. She added the gingerbread creamer, since that was the couples favorite, and stirred the contents together. Once she finished she brought her husband a cup.
"Nicolas~ wake up~!" However he did not wake. She smiled and shook him a little "wakey wakey chocolate cakey~"
She sighed since her attempts were getting nowhere. She smirked once she got an idea
"Jack is trying to steal the sled again"
"Not my baby!" He popped up from that. Mrs. Claus laughed at her husband and gave him his coffee.
"Here drink up." He did as she said and drank the coffee.
"Mmm gingerbread. My favorite!"
"It's all we have in the kitchen" they both laughed. What a beautiful couple they were. They had a happy marriage and a happy life.
"I always enjoy this little moments with you nick..."
"I do as well (Y/n), I do as well."

Wasn't that cute! I just love elderly couples and I saw like six today when I was walking and I was like 'AWWWW!' But you know I thought about good ole Russian Santa and wrote this. Hope you enjoyed!
