You stay seated in your room, awaiting the moment to start new year. You would be down with the rest of the guardians, however you just wanted a clean slate, a relaxing break from everything. A lot had happened in the past year and you wanted to think it over.
As the spirit of new years and the guardian of light, this was your holiday, and you had already finished in most of the other countries, where new years had already come. Now you waited until it reached here, the workshop. While you were gazing out the window, sandy came up the steps. He sat next to you.
"Oh, sup sandy?" you ask turning towards him. He, in his own way, asked whats wrong. You tell him, "Just preparing I guess." You shrug. He nods and you sit in a comfortable silence. After a few minutes Tooth comes up.
"Hey y/n, you okay up here?" she asks. "Yup, I'm just waiting to work my magic!" you answer with fake enthusiasm. she doesn't question you and sits on your bed. you continue to look at the window, sandy and tooth wondering what you are looking at so intensely. Sooner or later Bunnymund comes up.
"Aye, is the party moving up here?" you chuckle. "That's what it seems like kangaroo." he sits on the floor. "whatcha doing up here? left me all alone with jack!" you roll your eyes. "Man, jack is your problem." you quickly take a glance at him before looking back out the window. and speak of the devil, he came up at that moment. Drunk out of his mind. (UnDErAgE sIr)
"WOOO Y/n!! its your freaking holiday! Lets get crazy!!" He comes in and crashes on the floor next to Bunnymund. you giggle looking at him. He already passed out. You turn back to the window. When Santa comes up.
"did any of you see Jack?!?" he panics before he sees jack sleep on the floor. "thank goodness" You ignored it starting to get up. you turned towards your friends. "you might wanna start the countdown." you winked at them as they started to get excited.
"ten!" you took a deep breath
"nine!" Jack started waking up and joined in the countdown.
"eight" you stand close to the window
"seven!"
"six!" The light forms by your hands
"five!" the light gets bigger
"four!" you lift your arms up
"three!"
"Two!" you pull your arms back as sandy opens the window
"One!" you throw the ball of light.
"Happy new year!" You all scream as the light explodes across the sky. You start laughing as all you hug. Welcome 2019!!
