"Why would you bring me anyway?" I ask not wanting to be apart of this.
"Because you're the one with fire! I have ice it's like the opposite."
You may be wondering what in the world is going on. So I'll tell you. Jack thinks we should take matters into our own hands and just Kill pitch. I personally think it's a bad idea because Santa will be livid. And I don't wanna see that. The only reason I agreed to this is because I thought it was a date...
"Come on! Light it up!" Jack says way too excited
"'Come on y/n!' You said. 'I have a surprise!' You said." I rolled my eyes and looked at the house lair thing.
"Pleaseeee?"
"Jack you wanted to do this, I'm not trying to die." I crossed my arms and looked at him.
He grabbed my hands and looked me in the eye. "Y/n if we do this, all the children would be safe!"
"Jack we could get in a lot of trouble. Like a lot of trouble." I really didn't like this idea.
He caressed my cheek. I felt my face heat up. But he frowned while doing it though.
"What's wrong?" I asked
"I just want those kids to be safe, but if you don't want to do it then I won't force you.." I'd be trying to guilt trip me?! Oh no he doesn't.
"I'm glad you understand Jack, I don't think I could ever live with myself knowing I did that." I put on my best sad face. Two can play at that game Frost.
"I mean it was for a good cause!" Jack says trying to redeem himself.
"I couldn't go on with my life knowing I didn't listen to Santa after all he did for us..." I look in his eyes and squeeze his hands.
I noticed his eyes widen a bit and I laughed a little on the inside. "I'm sure he would be happy after we told him" he moved closer to me
"Think about everyone else too... how disappointed they would be.. and we're still the rookies! So it would just prove we aren't ready" I moved closer as well.
"Or they could be proud we took care of the problem." At this point we were touching.
I looked up at him. "I think we shouldn't do it, it's not nice."
"Since when am I nice?" He smiled widely. I laughed and kissed him. Surprisingly he kissed back. We kissed for a pretty long time, I'm surprised we didn't pull apart sooner. When we did we could be compared to a apple.
"Well that was fun huh?" I asked avoiding silence.
"Well I am the guardian of fun aren't I?" I giggled.
"So you're not gonna do it?" I shook my head.
"Okay, you don't have too, it was stupid anyway." I smiled.
"So we're a thing now right?" I asked
"Yup!" He kissed me on the cheek.
We hear a noise coming from the house lair thing. Then we see something that looked like the top of pitch's head. So we flew into the sky as fast as we could to avoid conflict.
"That was close wasn't it!" I said while flying.
"Not as close as we were a second ago" I blushed and lightly hit him
"Oh shut your pie hole" I smile. We then land on a tree and look at the moon.
"The moons pretty tonight." I said leaning into him
"Not as pretty as y-" I cut him off by covering his mouth.
"I don't need your corniness right now" he laughs and wraps his arms around me.
"Whatever you say my phoenix" he kissed the top of head.
I guess things turned out alright after all!
