Finally, I can relax, I said to myself as I walked into Cooking Class. Cooking was never challenging for me and I found it quite fun and relaxing. But as I took one step inside, a huge blob of dough landed on my face. I screamed taking a few wobbling steps back.

"I'm sorry!" Someone said while taking off the dough on my face. All I could see was a blonde haired guy, with blue eyes. Mr. Horan.

Looking for a place to sit, I decided to sit beside the last empty seat, which was beside a boy I wasn't too familiar with. He had short dark brown hair and was writing math equations on a math worksheet Mr. Payne had given us the class before. I glanced at his worksheet where he had his named signed on the top. Nathan Sykes. I looked back at him, where his blue green eyes were glued to the paper.

"If you're going to stare at me, you should at least say something." He said unexpectedly, his eyes still glued to the paper.

I looked away. "Sorry."

Nathan smirked and looked away from the paper. "When I said say something, I meant say hi."

"Oh. I'm Alison."

"Hi Alison, I'm Nathan." He greeted, shaking my hand. "But you probably know that already from looking at my worksheet."

We planted our eyes back to the front of the classroom, where Mr. Horan was still stuffing his face with a turkey. It's been ten minutes since class begun,

. "Um, Mr. Horan? When are we going to actually cook?"Nathan asked, raising his hand.

"After I finish!" Mr. Horan answered, stuffing another piece of cake into his mouth.

"But you already ate a cake, and you're in the middle of eating a turkey. What's next?" Said Nathan.

There was a knock on the door and in came a man in a Nandos uniform. "Here's your order of Peri Peri chicken, Peri fries, spiced rice, baked potatoes and hearty coleslaw."

"Well that answers that." Nathan sighed.

My jaw dropped at the amount of food Mr. Horan had ordered, and I looked at Nathan in shock.

"Yeah he eats like this on a regular basis." Nathan explained.

"Okay, one sec." Mr. Horan said, his mouth stuffed with fries. He clicked on something on his laptop and an image appeared on the screen.

"The Secret To A Peri Peri good chicken."

Mr. Horan began to laugh. "See what I did there? Peri good chicken! Peri Peri good!"

"Ha..Ha..funny." Most of the class muttered.

After he finished laughing he said, "Okay, you guys right down the recipe. Then you can use the applicances that have been left at your tables. You can make any kind of chicken you like, more unique, the better. If you need any help, I'll be eating."

"Or getting a heart stroke." I muttered.

"Oh I forgot, you'll be doing this in partners, so partner up!" Mr. Horan added, stuffing a potato into his mouth.

I turned my attention to the class, and realized almost everyone had a partner already.

"Hey, do you want to be my partner?" Nathan asked.

"Okay," I replied, taking out a sheet of paper and writing down the ingredients we'll need. Nathan got all the ingredients and added a couple of extra things to spice up our chicken a bit, make it stand out from the others.
