"Ugh!" I yelled as I sit down. "Whats wrong?" Draco asked me. "Nothing! Just Blaise and Theo being annoying like normal!" I said casually. "Yeah, we heard, but we just mean, what was it about?" Pansy asked me. "There were just looking at m-" I was cut off. "What?!?!" Draco yelled as he got up. He started walking towards him when I jumped on his back. "Draco, no!" I yelled. "Ugh! Why? You said they were looking at you!" Draco said. "You didn't let me finish! I was going to say There were just looking at me because I walked off to the Gryffindor table!" I defended myself. "Ohhh, Could you get off now?"
"Nope!"
"Is this my life now?"
"Yep!"
We both laughed as I got off his back. We then went back to the couch and sat down. "W-Wait! Did you just..." Pansy stuttered. "Yes. I realized I was being selfish and should have tried to understand what you had to go through. Im sorry." I said sincerely to her. "Apology accepted!" She squealed as she hugged me. "Im sorry about storming off early! I just... I just needed a break. I mean, everything is happening so fast! We just got here 3 days ago and I feel like no one cares about my feelings! No one cares that I have to deal with switching from Gryffindor to Slytherin! Think about it! All of you are Slytherin at heart! Im the only one that has to deal with an entirely different experience! It's just too much!" I said almost in tears."Hey, hey, it's okay. It's okay. I get it! It's hard for you! And im only making it harder. 'Mione, I know you really want to be with me and I want to be with you! But, It must be hard! I've been your enemy for 7 years, and all of the sudden, we are dating! I just think im making it too hard for you. We have to break up." Draco said as he walked off. "No, Draco, wait!" I said in tears. "I-I need to be alone," I said as I grabbed my light blue purse and walked out of the portrait. I ran down the hall and out to the courtyard. I sat down on a bench and begun to cry.
"'Mione, it's okay its okay! It happens to all of us!" Pansy comforted me. "He was the one thing that made my life normal! And now he's gone!" I complained. "It's okay!" Astoria said. "You have us!" Ginny exclaimed. "Thank you, girls! You are amazing!" I said.
They wiped my tears and Tori fixed my makeup. We all walked to Hogsmeade to go to the 3 Broomsticks. "4 Butterbeers, please!" I told the waiter. We talked and drank for about an hour and then went shopping. "Gin, look at these shoes!" I told her holding up a pair of black wedges. "They would look great with this dress!" She said holding up a red maxi dress. "They would look great together!" I said as I looked at the price tags. "Oh, Ginny it's beautiful but its too expensive! Also, when would I wear this?" I asked her. "Hmmm... you can wear it... on a date!" Ginny said. "When will I ever go on a date again?" I asked Ginny. She nodded her head over at a cute guy.
The brown haired green eyed guy was looking at me slightly. I smiled slightly. He walked towards me. "Hey!" He had said to me. "Hey!" I said back at him. "Is there any chance you went to Hogwarts?" The mysterious man asked me. "Yes, I do! My friends and I were asked back to Hogwarts to finish our year!" I told him. "Wait! I know who you are! You are war heroine, Hermione Granger!" He said. I laughed, "That's me! And you are..." I said.
"Chris!"
"Nice to meet you, Chris!"
"Nice to meet you too, Hermione!"
I turned around and Ginny and I went back to our conversation. "Like I said, Its too expensive, Gin!" I complained. "I'll pay for it 'Mione!"
"No, you cant do that!""Yes, I can!"
"No, you cant!"
"Yes!"
"No!""Yes!"
"Fine!" I finally gave in. We walked up to the register but when we brought it up, the person said that it was already paid for. I looked around the store and tried to find someone who would do that. Finally, my eyes landed on Chris. He winked when I found him and I started laughing.
"Chris, wait!" I said as I ran out of the store with my dress in my bag. "Thank you," I said as he stopped. "No Problem!" He said as he walked away. Ginny, Astoria, and Pansy finally finished and we went back to the Slytherin Common Room.
"Do me a favor Ginny, don't tell Harry!" I said as she left. I walked into the portrait and saw Draco, Theo, and Blaise talking about something. Astoria, Pansy, and I brushed past the boys and heard the slightest bit of their conversation. "I miss being with her," Draco said as we walked by. The 3 of us moved to the couches and sat down. "Hey!" I told the boys. "H- Hey!" Draco stuttered. "Draco, could I talk to you in private?" I asked him. "Umm... Yeah, sure." He said as he got up and followed me around the corner so the rest couldn't see us.
"Draco, I need to know the real reason you broke up with me," I asked him. "'Mione, the reason I broke up with you is that I don't want to cause more trouble for you." He said. "Draco, you were the only thing that wasn't troubling in my life," I told him. "Thank god, I missed hanging out with you!" I laughed. "So are we..."
"Dating? I guess so,"
We laughed. He put his hand on my cheek and pulled me closer to him. He leaned lower so we were now nose to nose. I wrapped my arms around his neck and we kissed. I heard Astoria's footsteps so I pulled away. "You good?" She asked me. "Never better!" I responded.
We went back to the couch and chatted until I went upstairs to go to bed. Pansy and Astoria came in soon after. Then I drifted off to sleep.
