First Quidditch Match

Saturday, September 9, 2000

My eyes slowly opened as I had woken up on that Saturday morning. I looked up realizing Draco was still in my bed. His arms wrapped around my waist as I relaxed my head on his neck. I looked at the clock and read the time, 8 am. I carefully moved my head to face Pansy's bed. She was already up. I then shifted my head to look at Luna's. She was up too. I finally looked at Astoria's bed. They were all up. I slipped out of Draco's arms and stood up. I went into the bathroom.

I was looking at myself in the mirror. I stood there, trying to figure out what to do for makeup today when I heard something coming from the dormitory. I left the bathroom as I saw Draco now standing up.

I laughed. "What time is it?" He asked. "8:00," I said staring at him. "I can't believe I fell asleep." He said. "I can't believe you slept in here," I replied. We both laughed. I started walking closer. "You look beautiful with no makeup on." He complimented me. I slightly blushed. "And you have bed head," I joked as I stood in front of him. I fixed his hair. He laughed. He slipped his arms around my waist and we looked into each other's eyes. He leaned in to kiss me. I pulled out of his grasp as he was about to kiss me.

"Hey!" He said annoyed. "Sorry!" I said as I walked into the bathroom. He followed me. "What are you doing?" I asked him. "Watching you put on makeup." He responded. I continued to put on makeup until I realized I didn't have any mascara. I opened one of the drawers labeled 'Astoria's; DO NOT TOUCH!'. "'Mione, isn't that Astoria's?" He asked me as I pulled out the mascara and started to apply it. "So what! I do it all the time." I told him.

I walked out of the bathroom and looked through my clothes. "Draco, could you please leave? I have to get changed." I told him as I picked out my black strappy crop top. "Fine." He said as he left the dormitory. I pulled out a high waisted scarlet skirt. I quickly changed into the outfit and slipped on some gold sneakers. I walked out to the couches where I saw Astoria.

"'Mione, is that my mascara?" She asked. "Uhh... no!" I said trying to make her believe it. "'Mione! stop using my mascara!" She yelled at me. "Fine!" I yelled back. We both started laughing. I sat down on the couch waiting for Draco.

"Ugh!" I said looking at the clock. "Blaise, could you go get Draco?" I asked him. He nodded his head and got up. I continued to talk with Astoria. All the sudden I felt something on my lips. I yanked my head away realizing it wasn't Draco. "Ronald! What the hell are you doing!" I yelled at him while wiping my lips. "I miss you, 'Mione!" He told me as he tried to kiss me again. "Does Pansy know that you want to get back together with me?" I asked him. He looked down at his feet. "That's what I thought! Now, If you wish to lose your girlfriend and all of your friends, I would cut it out!" I yelled at him. He tried again.

"What are you doing!" Draco yelled as he ran down the stairs. "Im trying to kiss my girlfriend!" Ronald said. "What are you talking about?" I asked him. "We never technically broke up! You said we needed space!" Ronald says. I sighed, "Ronald! Let me make it clear for you! I do not like you! In any way! So will you just get out of my life!" I yelled at him. "Fine, whatever you want... princess." He whispered while walking away. I looked back at my wonderful boyfriend who now had his hand around my waist. I gave him a quick peck on the lips as I headed toward the exit. 

"Where are you going?" Draco asked me. "Going out with Ginny. Have fun at Quidditch!" I said as I left. I walked towards the Gryffindor Common Room. I said the password and headed in the portrait. "Ginevra Weasley! Get down here now!" I yelled from the common room. "Calm down!" She said as she walked out of the dormitory. 

We walked to Hogsmeade and grabbed butterbeers. We laughed and talked and drank till about 3:30. It was the first Quidditch game of the year and it was Gryffindor vs. Slytherin. It started at 4 so Ginny and I started walking there from the Three Broomsticks.

We got there at 3:45. I walked over to where they were getting ready. I ran up to Draco and jumped on his back. He jumped. "'Mione!" He yelled as I kissed him on the cheek. "Good luck, baby!" I said as I jumped off his back. "Don't get hurt, don't hurt Harry, make sure to win." I reminded him. He gave me a long kiss then he pulled away. I looked at him for 5 seconds then went to sit with Astoria, Pansy, and Luna.

After the game, we went to dinner. "What did I tell you not to do!" I told Draco as I sat down with him. "Hurt myself..." He said quietly. "That's right! Now I will help you, BUT you will be treated like a muggle!"I told him. "Ugh, fine!" He told me. I started wrapping his hand and wrist up in a bandage. I kissed him as I finished wrapping his hand and wrist.

I was leaning on Draco as we were sitting on the couch. "So, is there a Quidditch game next Saturday?" I asked him while looking up. "Not for me." He said. "So... can we go on our date next Saturday?" I asked him hopefully. "I don't see why not," Draco told me. I squealed then gave him a long kiss. Draco and I sat on the couch chatting with our friends for about an hour. It slowly became late and I fell asleep.
