Back at Hogwarts

Sleepless

Thursday, November 30, 2000

I woke up and looked up at Draco. He was wide awake just looking at me lovingly as I slept. "Morning!" He said joyfully. "Morning," I said sleepily. "We've got to get up!" Draco said pushing me up. "Yeah!" I said standing up and opening the wardrobe. I pulled out a white button-up shirt and black jeans. I changed into the outfit and got into y robes Draco had also gotten changed into his robes. We walked out of the room.

The first thing I did was go to Tori and Blaise's room. I saw Astoria trying to put her shirt on. "Tori, Ill help," I said putting a charm on the shirt o it stretched out. "Thanks, 'Mione! Being pregnant is hard!" She said hugging me. "Come on, we got to go!" I said pulling her and Blaise out of the room. Ginny, Pansy, Ron, and Harry were on the couch waiting. We pulled them out and we walked to the great hall.

We sat down at our tables and chatted until Professor McGonagall silenced us. "I would like to invite you all to a ball this Saturday! The ball will likely be like the yule ball. Except this one will be dedicated to our war heroes and war heroine! Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, and Hermione Granger!" She said clapping. Everyone joined in as Draco pulled me closer and gave me a long kiss. I giggled. Most of the clapping from the Slytherin Table was for me. Ron was sort of an outcast.

Slowly the clapping died down. "The Hero Ball will be held here on Saturday!" She said implying that she was finished. "So, Hermione..." He said keeping his arm around my waist. "Yes, I will go to the ball with you!" I said giving him a peck on the lips before returning to my meal. "Ugh, I love you!" He said taking the apple I was about to pick up. "Hey!" I said trying to grab the apple out of his hand. "No! You need to pay the toll!" He said keeping the apple away from me. I leaned over him and gave him a long kiss.

"Could you not? We're trying to eat!" Ron yelled. I hushed him using a charm and continued to snog Draco. I pulled away and smiled. "Here you go!" He said handing me the apple. "Thank you!" I said snatching it from him. I took a large bite of the apple and leaned my head on Draco. Soon, we got up and went to our first class.

After Class

Gin and I apparated back to my favorite muggle store. We searched and searched for dresses. I found the perfect dress for me. It was a dark green floor-length off-the-shoulder satin dress. Ginny found a floor-length long strapless flowy burgundy dress. We bought the dresses and returned to the castle. We tucked our dresses away and got changed. I changed into a nice long t-shirt and I wasn't wearing pants. I ran into our room and jumped on his back while he was talking with Draco.

"Hey!" He said holding me up. "Hey! Want to do something crazy?" I asked him. "Depends..." He said giving me a kiss. I grabbed his hand and we apparated to London. "'Mione! Are you out of your mind?" Draco said as we apparated. "Maybe a little..." I said turning to face him. He clutched my hands and pulled me closer so that our chests were touching. I gave him a long kiss and we leaned against a wall. I pulled away and dragged him to the mall.

We went into one of my favorite stores and I looked around. "'Mione! It's 7! We should go back!" He said holding my hand. "No! I want to get a new outfit!" I said pulling him into another store. "NO!" He yelled as he apparated us back to our room. "Ugh! Fine!" I said going into the closet. I changed into a long baggy shirt and got in bed. "You realize you're getting in bed with an angry woman right?" I said getting under the covers.

"Well... maybe there's something I can do to make you unangry..." He said rolling over in bed so he was practically on top of me. I smirked. I gave him a long steamy kiss. "Night, Draco!" I said turning back on my side.

had been 2 hours and I couldn't fall asleep. I snuck out of Draco's grasp and went to the kitchen. "Couldn't sleep either?" Pansy asked turning away from her tea. "No, could you make me some tea?" I asked sitting down at the table. Pansy handed me my tea. I sighed. "Let me guess, Rons snoring?" I asked her as I took a sip of my warm tea. "Yea. You?" She asked placing her tea on the table. "I dont know. I just couldn't sleep." I said shifting. 

"'Mione?" Astoria asked as she walked out of the room. "Couldn't sleep?" I asked. "Yeah, but I have a reason to be awake. Im pregnant! You 2 dont!" She said making herself a cup. "I just couldn't sleep. Pansy was annoyed by Ron's snoring." I said rolling my eyes. "Well, we should be getting to bed. We have a class at 9 tomorrow." Tori said slurping up the small cup of tea she made. She gently placed her cup in the sink and went back to her room. I agreed and went back to my room. I rolled into Draco's grasp. I looked lovingly at my awesome superb boyfriend. "I love you..." I whispered before snuggling into my sleeping boyfriend more. I took a deep sigh and fell asleep in Draco's warm embrace.
