Sneaking Out

Yawn! That was an amazing sleep. I looked at the clock that hung above Astoria's bed. It read 7 am. I had woken Tori, Pansy, and Luna up. I put on a Slytherin green tank top and black jeans. I slipped on my robes and put on light makeup. I left the dormitory and looked over the balcony and trying to see if I could spot Draco. He wasn't in sight so I walked down the silver stairs and sat down on the couch.

I was sitting on the couch for about 15 minutes. All of the sudden, I felt someone press their lips against mine. I quickly realized it was Draco, therefore, I kissed back. "So, if some random person planted their lips on you, you would just kiss back?" Draco questioned. "I only kissed back because I knew it was you!" I defended myself. "Well... would you like me to do that again?" Draco joked. I chuckled. "Wha-" He started before I interrupted him with another kiss. We were now both standing up.

"I get you two love each other, but could you cut out the kissing." I heard Theo say. "We don- I mean, we-" I nervously told him. I was nervous because of the 'love each other' part. "Relax, Hermione," Theo calmingly said. "It was a joke!" He laughed. " Ugh! Where are Tori and Pans?" I complained. I sighed, "Let me go get them, babe!" I said to Draco as I kissed him on the cheek and walked upstairs.

AHHHHHH!  I screamed as I slammed the door shut. Little did I know, Draco was running to protect me from what I witnessed.

"Astoria! Are you okay?" I asked her. "Do I look okay?" She said sarcastically. I looked at Astoria. There was a chunk missing from her hair, most likely burned off by her curling iron. My eyes then slowly drifted toward her neck, where I saw a humongous burn mark. "Oh My God! Pansy umm..." I was trying to figure out something to do.

Bang! Draco had blown my door down. "Draco! You cant be in here!" I yelled. "I heard you scream! Whats wrong?!?!" He yelled at me. "Nothing, Draco! Now you must leave!" I argued with him. "Fine! I will leave!" He said as he turned to go downstairs. Draco and I had just gotten in our first couple fight! I thought about this for 2 seconds then tried to figure out what to do.

"Okay, Tori! You only got like 6 inches off. You can still pull that into a ponytail, right?" I asked her. She nodded her head. She put her hair up. "I will whip up a hair growth potion over the weekend. But for now, this is the best solution. Umm for the burn..." I was contemplating what to do I looked down to my arm and then knew exactly what to do. I walked up to Astoria and whispered the same cover-up spell I had on my arm. The spell that covered up my 'tattoo'. The one that says mudblood.

"How did you know... how to..." She stuttered. "Uh, just because." I reasoned. "Okay, whatever you say. Oh, yeah, and thank you so much 'Mione!" She said as she hugged me. "Remember, you can tell me anything 'Mione," Astoria reassured me. "I know!" I responded as I walked downstairs. Draco stared at me. We were laughing.

"What?" I questioned him. "So you're just going to shake off what happened up there?" He asked annoyed. "Yeah, why not? It's not like I killed someone!" I argued. "How would I know! You didn't even let me in!" He yelled. The whole common room was staring. "Im sorry, but I find my friends, more important than my boyfriend! And if you can't handle that then maybe we shouldn't be together!" I yelled

His mouth wide open. "Hermione, I want you to always know, I don't have to be your main priority. Put your friends first, they are more impor-" He said before I interrupted him with a kiss. I put my hand on his cheek as he put his hands on my waist and pulled me closer to him. I pulled away, "You've said all I wanted to hear," I whispered in his ear. I went back to kissing him. 

"Im sorry to interrupt your kiss sesh, but we got to start heading to class." Pansy interrupted. "Ugh, you're the worst!" I joked. We started laughing as I grabbed my bag of books and walked out of the portrait. I laughed as Draco, Ron, Blaise, Theo, Astoria, Pansy, Luna, and I walked down the hall. Draco slyly slipped his hand around my waist. I looked up at him and laughed. "What?" he asked. "You're adorable!" I exclaimed. Ron made a gagging sound. "Will you just shut up!" I yelled at him.  "Im sorry that im giving an honest opinion about your relationship," Ron yelled at me.

I scoffed. "You know what! Im done with being a Slytherin! As long as Ron's a Slytherin, im NOT!" I told them as I slipped out of Draco's grasp. I ran to the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom. All I wanted was to get away from everyone. I sat down in my seat and ignored the fact that they were following me. Astoria sat down with me. "'Mione, the Slytherin house would be destroyed without you. Pansy and I would be late to every class. I would have a burn mark on my neck for everyone to see if it wasn't for you. You are the one that holds the Slytherins together. Without you, we might as well be dead." Astoria broke out into speech.

I hugged her. "Does this mean you are back to being a Slytherin?" She asked me. "Astoria, as much as I love having so many friends in my house, I feel like it would be so much easier if I just became a Gryffindor again. Im sorry!" I told her. "Professor, may I go to the restroom?" I asked. He nodded his head. I got out of my seat and left the room.

I walked down the hall to find Professor McGonagall's office. I knocked on the door. "Come in!" Her croaky voice said. I walked into her office. "Umm... Professor McGonagall, I was wondering if I could switch my house back to Gryffindor," I told her. "Oh, Ms.Granger, I realize it must be hard to switch houses, but I cannot. The Sorting Hat said you belong in Slytherin. I cannot change that Ms.Granger." Professor McGonagall told me. "I understand, Professor McGonagall," I said as I turned around to leave.

I walked back to DADA when I saw everyone leaving. I walked in front of them and completely ignored them.

Lunch

I walked to the Gryffindor table and sat with Ginny. "Hey, Harry, could I borrow your invisibility cloak tonight?" I asked him. "Yeah, sure, why?" He asked me. "Doing a favor for Astoria!" I said.

After Classes

I went back to the Slytherin common room and hung out with Astoria. "Hey, babe!" I said as he walked by. "'Mione, do you like being with me," Draco asked. "What,  Draco I love being with you! The reason I think it would be easier not to be a Slytherin is that Ron ruins our moments." I told him. "Okay, I thought it was because of me." He said. "Aww... you are the most ama-" I was interrupted by a kiss from Draco. I laughed.

Draco and I went up to my dormitory along with Astoria and Pansy. All 4 of us were doing homework. Blaise knocked on the door. "Come in!" I yelled. "Harry dropped this off for you, 'Mione." He said holding up a package. "Oh, thanks, Blaise!" I said taking the package. "What's that?" Draco asked me. "Oh, umm... nothing!" I neglected to tell him about my plans. "Let's open it!" Draco exclaimed. "We can do it later!" I laughed off what he said. I put it on the other side of my bed. "Give it to me!" Draco said. "No!" I yelled as he was reaching over to get it.

We were now nose to nose. "Well, hello there!" He said as we started kissing. "We are trying to do homework over here. Could you guys stop snogging?" Pansy said. We ignored her and continued to snog. I ran out of breath and pulled away. He knocked me over so we were now laying on my bed. We continued to snog as Draco reached past me and grabbed the package. He pulled away, looked at me charmingly, and started to open the package. "No, Draco!" I yelled. But it was too late he opened it.

"Harry's invisibility cloak? Why this?" He asked me. "I was going to sneak out and into the potions supply closet tonight," I said. "Ooh! The perfect Gryffindor princess breaks into the potions supply closet! I'm coming with you!" He said. "No, Draco you can't! I wouldn't want you to get in trouble if I get caught!" I told him. "'Mione, I'm going with you whether you want me to or not!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"Fine!" I gave in. "Come in here at 10 PM tonight! I might fall asleep so feel free to just come in!" I told him. 

Hours Later

"We've been doing homework for hours! What time is it?" I said as I yawned. Draco checked the clock. "10. We should get going!" Draco said as he got up. I got up too and grabbed my wand and the cloak. Draco grabbed his wand and the potions book. We started walking when Draco accidentally touched his wand to where I had the cover-up spell. "Ouch!" I said as his wand touched my forearm. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Uh, nothing!" I lied.

'Mudblood' was showing a bit on my arm. We snuck in and got everything I needed for the potion. We headed back to my room and placed everything down. Yawn! I slowly fell asleep in Draco's arms.
