As quick as a could a grabbed just what was necessary and hurried to the hospital. When I arrived I already saw Jimin's whole family in the waiting room. Sunmi was still in her wedding dress and cried against her new husband's shoulder.

The moment Jimin's mother saw me she came over and hugged me. "She is in coma now, Sofia. We can only pray that she will wake up soon", she explained.

"Can I stay with her?", I asked and Misses Lee nodded. Then she talked to one of the nurses and they guided me to Jimin's room.

She looked peaceful, but all the cables and medicine stuff connected to her irritated me. I honestly don't know how long I stud there starring, surly it was a while.

I grabbed a chair and set down next to her bed. Just seconds later her mother came in to tell me that she would love to stay, but she has to take care of the rest of the family. Absently I nodded.

During the night I couldn't sleep so I started to think what had happened to her. No matter how much I thought I couldn't find a right scenario how she got so many injuries all over her body and face.

So when Jimin's mother visited I asked her what happened. She told me that a drunk motorcycle driver ran her over when she crossed the street. Her cousin, who saw the accident, immediately called an ambulance and since than she was in the hospital.

I wondered why she crossed the street, but I didn't ask because I was pretty sure Misses Lee didn't know either.

All day I didn't leave my crush's side, not even for the meals. The nurses were so worried that I wouldn't eat enough that they brought me the meals into Jimin's room.

In the afternoon our friends visited us in the hospital. I didn't miss anything at school because currently we had spring break. During that time I thought I wouldn't see Jimin but that wasn't my destiny.

Our friends would have stayed for the rest of the day, but I told them to go home, I would call them as soon as there were any news.

After the they left I started to play all the songs Jimin loved on my phone. Different to me she could jam to each of them, but I can't because she loves k-pop and I don't speak Korean although Jimin thought me a few basics.

I promised myself that I would start learning it harder when she wakes up. Then my attention was suddenly drawn to my phone. Jimin's all time favorite song 'Butterfly (Prologue Mix)' started to play.

Out of curiosity I searched up the lyrics in English and my eyes started to tear up. The meaning of the song was sad and sweet at the same time.

Then I heard the door opening and quickly grabbed a tissue to whip of the tears which ran down my cheeks. It were Jimin's parents who came in. I stopped the music and wanted to leave so they would have time with their daughter, but her mother asked me to stay.

So I stayed. It was quiet in the room, but not the awkward kind of quiet. Just nobody said a word.

At that moment it was like time froze, but after ten minutes Jimin's father started to talk. He thanked me that I stayed with their daughter and that he couldn't wish for any better best friend for his daughter.

I felt honored for the grateful words, but he didn't know what happens the last days in school. And I didn't plan on telling them anytime soon because it is already hard enough for her parents to see their daughter in such a condition.

We kept talking for a while and they told me how much Sunmi missed me at her wedding. I quickly searched for an excuse and ended up saying that I hadn't felt well, which wasn't fully a lie.

Because Jimin's parents felt like a second pair of parents to me and they thought of me as their daughter as well they understood me. It was the same with my parents and Jimin.

We all didn't know each other so long, but we felt like a big family. Even our parents were very close. Like our moms were best friends and our dads, too. All the my important memories I made with those people.

It was just like they have been in my life forever, but if everything continues like it is now that will change soon. Not that I wanted to leave them, it was just like I can't continue being Jimin's best friend when she will be awake again.

Of course I knew it could be that she will never wake up again, but I just couldn't think what I would do if that happens, so I just needed to stay positive.

Then her parents had to leave again because they still had the Korean part of the family as guests staying at their house and so they wanted to take care of them.

I told them that it wasn't a problem for me and so we said goodbye for that day. Moments later I looked at the clock and realized it was already 9:30 pm. I felt incredibly tired not only because I didn't sleep the day before, but the situation was just tiring for me.

Quickly I changed and brushed my teeth, so I could get back to Jimin's side. There I feel asleep holding her hand.

In the middle of the night a strange sound coming from Jimin woke me up.
I was so scared what had happened when I called the doctors. Hopefully they could help her.

~ author's note ~
Yes again a cliffhanger. I'm sorry, but I'm not sorry. Please don't be mad at me for the names I chose, I don't want to upset anyone!

Q: Fo I need to feel bad for only writing approximately 950 words, when I see so many authors writing about 2000 words for one chapter?
