"Fuck no!"
I gasped staring at David with wide eyes. After almost two minutes of sitting in silence he decided to let out hateful words.
"It's never going to happen and if you expect me to give you guys my blessing, then you definitely have another thing coming." David was so enraged. His finger was pointed in their direction the whole time.
"You really think I'm going to let you know marry my baby sister. You are definitely stupider than I thought your were Russo". David rolled his r's and did his hand gestures signalling his anger. Continuing to huff and pant David stood up straightening his jacket and glaring at poor Dominic. Claire looked like she would burst from rage and Dominic bit his lip. He looked as if he was holding back many emotions. But from experience no one messed with David when he made decisions. Not even Claire.
That's why they call me suicidal.
"Saryah come on were going home" he said halfway out the door already. I stood up brushing the imaginary dust off my dress. As I made my way to the door I looked back at Dominic and Claire. Her eyes held tears so close to pouring out. I mouthed that I would come back tomorrow and Claire gave me a small smile.
All the way home David was silent. He seemed livid. I know he would obviously be a bit overprotective of Claire. Every big brother is like that, but this was on a whole other different level. He was stopping her from getting married.

David skipped dinner saying he had to work. What was going on here was acting awfully strange? David never skipped dinner. He ate like a pig.
Later at night I couldn't sleep so I went downstairs to get a glass of water. As I tip toed through the downstairs corridor I noticed David's office light still on. It illuminated the hallway in the darkness and I sadly frowned. He shouldn't be up at this devilish hour.
Proceeding to the door I heard him murmuring sorrys in his sleep. His eyebrows contorted and his nose scrunched up. He looked agitated.
I placed a comforting hand on his cheek tracing every entire of his troubled face. When I reached his shoulder I tried to wake him up. This desk definitely was not ideal for comfort.
"David, David wake up" I shook him.
"No get off!" he screamed. His eyes were as wide as saucers and his nose flared. He look upset in a sacred and not an infuriating way.
"Love, it's just me" I whispered. He pulled me on to his lap, squeezing the life put of me. His pointy nose nozzles into the crook of my neck causing small giggles to erupt from within me. I didn't let them pass my mouth feared of how David would feel.
"Saryah, I'm so sorry"
"It's okay David what's wrong? You never have nightmares. That'd my job" I asked with a playful voice .
