Jade got the drinks and food ready. Leigh-Anne got the decor set up, and Jesy was picking out what we should all wear. Liam and Niall came to help with anything that needed to be done. They told me to stay out of it because they'd knew I mess up. Rude. But very true.

Jade was hosting the after-party. Only performers, backstage crew, teachers, and special invites could attend. Jade wanted everything to be perfect.

"Perrie could you hand me the strings?" Leigh-Anne asked on the ladder.

"I'm too lazy Leigh." I tried to get up form the couch but my lazy self wouldn't get up. She sighed and starting coming down.

"No it's alright Leigh. I'll just toss it up." Niall came to the rescue.

"Thanks Niall." She said taking the strings from him and arranging the decor and went back to work.

"You know Leigh is single." I joked making Niall laugh and toss his head back.

"Ha ha very funny Perrie." He walked away carrying tape and walked over to Jade. I slumped back in the couch not knowing what to do for an hour.

"Come on, lets get you some work to do." Liam and Louis pulled me from my wrist, which made me flinch in pain from the bandage rubbing off of me, trying to make me get up.

"Leave me alone guys."

"You're not doing anything." Louis commented.

"Let me remind you why. 'Perrie you're probably going to mess everything up, so just do what you do best, sleep'." I huffed, quoting Jade's words, "and may I remind you, I'm not in a very party mood. My mum just died and I'd love it if you guys would leave me alone, thanks."

"Oh come on Perrie." Liam put me over his shoulder and sat me down at the table, "we're sorry for you loss but think of this. The sooner this party is done, the sooner you get to be with your family." I raised my eyebrow, "Okay that didn't sound as planned."

"What family? I barely have a father, that bastard of a man, and my brother and sister are hiding away in fear. I just want to sleep."

"Get up Perrie. Go get changed." Louis demanded.

"Then why bring me here! You could've carried me on your shoulder for three flights of stairs." I huffed again getting up and starting to walk up the stairs.

"Okay I laid out your outfits on Jade's bed guys. I'll finish the rest up while you get ready." She was already in her outfit.

We all slumped into Jade's room exhausted. Yes I was exhausted even though I didn't do any work. I walked up three flights of stairs. That's enough for me.

I started to direct my attention towards my mum. I smiled at Jesy.

"Are you okay Perrie? We could postpone this because of your condition." Jesy looked at my bandaged wrist, "you've been through a lot, let me take you home."

"No." I immediately persisted, "I mean-the party has to go on and can't stop just because of me."

"Perrie," Jesy sighed, "Zayn told me about what happened to your mum. I feel so bad I just want to know what I could do to help."

"I don't know what to do anymore. First my stepdad and now my mum?" I looked down at the floor.

"Oh god pez, I feel horrible." Jesy hugged me, "this party won't mean anything unless you're better."

"I'm fine, yeah-uh just emotional." I covered up, "it still hurts and everything. It all just blew up so fast."

"I can drive you to the emergency room."

"No Jesy, I'm fine, really. This'll heal."

"Perrie your condition won't get any better unless someone helps you. It's not fine that your mum died."

"I've been dealing with my dad ever since but I never knew he could be capable of this. I thought when you marry someone, this wouldn't happen." I looked at a teary-eyed Jesy, "but I guess I was wrong."
