I got weird stares as I walked to my locker. I sighed. There was nothing I can do besides playing a victim of Gigi. It was hard walking in the lone halls. Where everything began. Where everything ended. I didn't know where it went wrong. It seemed like everything was going great. I had friends that I relied on, then it went downhill.
I opened it when I found a note. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the girls and lads looking hopeful that i'd read it. Knowing this, I tore it up and threw it out in the nearest garbage cans I could find. I didn't want to be the weak one. I didnt want to get hurt again. I've lost so many friends at my old school, I wished it hadn't happened here either.
That was way harsh when I saw their faces drop but in a way I felt relieved I wouldn't let any more people down. I put my bag and got my books out of my locker. That's when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around.
"Hi? I don't believe I know you." I spoke, "do you need anything?" I asked the man in front of me. I know this person from somewhere. I've seen him before, I just don't know when. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and continued paying attention to him.
"No. I was just wondering if I could walk you to your classroom?"
"Why?" I asked confused. The lads and ladies still keeping their eye on me.
"No reason. Thought you were cute." He shrugged. Here we go again. Excuses, excuses, excuses. Did he really think I was cute?
"Uh-okay? But if the lads and ladies sent you over here to talk to me then it's a no." I laughed. He smiled. We walked to my history class. I was still skeptical.
"You're Perrie Edwards right?" I nodded.
"I am. How do you know me?"
"I was over by the other side of the lockers and I heard a few kids saying your name. Since it's such a pretty name, I figured it was for a beautiful lady. So then I saw you and immediately thought it was you." I was beyond flattered.
"Thank you." I gushed.
"You seemed really nice and you look like a new student I was hoping I could be your friend."
"What do you wanna talk about?" I asked.
"I want us to get to know each other. Can we meet up at the cafe after school?" He asked, should I accept? I mean, I could use a friend right now and I don't have any at the moment.
"After school? I can't. Maybe tomorrow at 6?" I replied and he nodded. I didn't even know his name and I was agreeing to this.
"Yeah, sounds like a date." He smiled.
"But not a date. Persay a hangout." I quickly realized where this was going and shut down the conversation. I didn't want this to be a date, I didn't want to find a relationship.
I walked into my classroom and took my seat. Zayn wasn't next to me. Thank god. Or else he'd be harassing me with a million useless questions. I opened up my laptop to work on the assignment that was written in the board. Our teachers never talk, they always just write our work on the board and tell us to complete it by the end of the period.
Speak of the devil.
He sat down next to me.
I rolled my eyes and turned in the essay we had due and worked on the new assignment.
"I've decided every week we're going to switch seats. So we can have a change in class. Its a healthy experience to meet new people and work with different personalities, interests, and etc. When I call your name please stand up and go with your partner." Everyone groaned and got up with their stuff.
