yo this story is taking a rough turn 😤
__I ran out of the backyard wanting to get away. I saw them talking and bickering but then they went inside. That's when I made my move. I put up my hoodie. I walked to the sidewalk and ran.
I kept my gaze towards the house but then I moved it to the figure in front of me. I bumped into that person and fell to the ground.
"Oh sorry." A familiar voice said and helped me up from my knees. No. It can't be.
"T-thanks." I forced myself not to look at the person.
"Are you okay miss?" His voice sent shivers down my spine. I concealed my face.
"Yes. Th..thank you." I smiled still not showing my face. I started to walk but he stepped in front of me.
"What's your name?"
"You don't need to know that mister." The words just rolled off my tongue and he chuckled.
"Yes I do pretty lady." He smirked. God damn that smirk.
"You can't even see me." I blushed. His finger was on my chin and he slowly lifted my face, "Then let me miss."
I was about to let him but then I forced myself away. Bumping my shoulder on his. I ran. I don't know where. But I ran.
I stopped in the park Liam brought me and sat in the swings. I watched the grass flow in the wind. Listen to the birds chirp. Admired nature.
A figure sat on the swing next to me.
"Beautiful huh?"
"Yeah. Nature is beautiful." I looked at the ground.
"I was talking about you." I gushed at her comment.
"Yeah right."
"You are Pezza." She lifted my chin and took off my hoodie.
"Mom?" Tears filled my eyes.
"Yes my dear. Don't do this to yourself." She lifted my sleeves and revealed my scars.
"Mom. I miss you." The tears fell down my cheek.
"Hey, hey, hey beautiful. Don't cry. I'll always be with you. No matter what. I love you."
"I love you too mum." I sniffled.
She kissed the top of my forehead and vanished in thin air.
"MOM! COME BACK! I DONT KNOW WHAT I'D DO WITHOUT YOU! PLEASE! COME BACK!" I screamed. Tears swelling my face. No one could hear me. Everyone was sleeping on a Saturday at 9:00 in the morning.
I buried my face in my knees.
"Mom. Please." I whispered to myself. Tears became coming in teams. 2s, 3s, 4s, and soon enough it came in millions. A million little droplets falling down miracles we call eyes.
"There she is!" I heard a faint yell from Leigh-Anne and all of us took off running.
I ran and ran until I stopped to catch my breath. It was only a few seconds when I heard faint yelling start again.
I caught my final breath and ran again for what like 10 minutes straight. I looked behind me for one second and I bumped into a stranger and fell on my knees again.
"Sorry sir." I dusted myself and began to run. I forgot my hood was off.
"Perrie?" I cringed. I got up and ran off again.
"PERRIE!" He was hot on my tracks. He never left behind me. I ran faster then ever and hid behind a building.
I saw all of them run past me and I let out a breath. I looked around and everything seemed unfamiliar. I didn't know where I was.
I started walking to the nearest mini shop and ask for directions. It only felt like a second when I heard my name.
"Perrie." They were all standing behind Zayn.
I chose to ignore and pick up the pace. I was at the curb of my street when I heard my name being yelled again.
"Leave me alone for gods sake please. It's a Saturday morning and I want to spend it in peace please." I had the urge to yell it but instead I calmly sputtered out. I started taking steps towards my house but someone stopped me.
Zayn swiftly stood in front of me. Smooth.
"Yes mister, do you need anything? Perhaps directions to get out of my way?" I innocently batted my eyes.
"You've been running for hours already. Why?"
"Going out for an early morning run. Because some people can't respect people's privacy." I rolled my eyes.
I started picking up my feet a landed myself over Zayn's shoulders.
"Put me down Malik." I laughed as my feet hit the ground.
"Calm down Edwards. We want to help." Louis said.
"With what exactly?" I examined everyone around me.
"Opening up." I rolled my eyes and scoffed.
"I don't need your filthy help. I don't need it. So leave me the fuck alone please." I got up from the ground.
"Come on."
"You guys aren't my parents. I don't want your help. I don't need your help. I have my mum, dad, and siblings right next to me. So if anything. They are my go-to-help hotline." I started walking back when I heard my name being called.
"FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME. LEAVE ME ALONE BEFORE I CALL THE POLICE!" I yelled back and entered the building I called home. Caitlin was at the table eating cereal.
"Morning Perrie." She smiled and dipped her glass of water.
"Morning Caitlin. How'd you sleep?" I made myself a cup of coffee and brought my laptop from my room to the table in the living room.
"Good. I fell asleep in a second. I can't believe mum is gone. Jonnie's still crying but he's taking care of the funeral." She sniffled but say in the couch next to me flipping through channels on the TV.
"Me neither. Mom would never leave us. When did you wake up?"
"Maybe an hour or two earlier. I woke up to your friends investigating Claire. I came to the house yesterday at 4 am."
"Sorry for my classmates. They're just nosy." I apologized.
