❧ 10. betrayal

"Yeees, chicken!" you yell while grabbing a piece.

"Hey pretty girl, how did it go?" Taehyung asks while shoving a piece of chicken into his mouth.

"Yeah how was it?" Jungkook adds. The boys look at you with curiosity while eating noisily.

You bite off a piece of chicken, "It went pretty well actually, I met a childhood friend and some nice and funny guys."

Taehyung chokes on a piece of chicken.

"Guys?" he asks with his mouth full.

"Yeah they are a group of friends and one of them saw us on the news," you say while eating. 

You laugh, "They are weird but nice, nothing to worry about," you say with a smile.

Taehyung thinks for a moment but then smiles.

"Can I meet them?" he asks in anticipation.

You smile, "Of course! My friends are your friends," you say and go back to eating your chicken.

Jungkook coughs, "So who's that childhood friend, someone we know?"

You pause a second before you speak, "Her name is Umji."

Taehyung looks up at you.

"She has changed a lot since I met her. She is really nice and it seems like she has become a mature and good person."

You smile reassuringly to Taehyung.

"That sounds really nice, you made so much friends after just one day!" Jungkook screams out in a fatherly way.

You chuckle.

Suddenly the boy that looks like Sehun comes into your mind.

Shall I tell them? Maybe they'll think I'm paranoid or something.

Uhggg. Decisions, decisions.

Due to all the thinking you didn't even notice that the boys were looking at you like you were crazy.

"Y/n, are you okay?" Namjoon asks.

You look up, "Hmm?"

You realise you weren't just thinking in your mind; your facial expressions are never unnoticeable ...

Aish, I'll tell them just in case there is really something bad going on.

"Well, I don't know if it was really him but I think I saw Sehun at campus today," you state.

It gets really quiet for a moment but then Namjoon bursts out laughing.

"What? That's impossible, he's in prison," he says still chuckling.

He's right, Sehun is in prison.

Nothing to worry about Y/n.

But what if he escaped?!

You were freaking out.

"What if he escaped and will now kill us all?!"

"Oh my god, what if he breaks in and kills us in our sleep?"

"What if he's already here??" you say while looking around you.

"Damn Y/n calm down," Namjoon says while laying a hand on your shoulder.

Oh no, now everyone really thinks I'm paranoid.

You look down in embarrassment.

"Yeah you're right. I don't know what I was thinking. I probably didn't get enough sleep last night," you sigh.
