5 The Day After

THE DAY AFTER

"You kissed a stranger ?"

"And you don't even know what his face looks like.Are you serious Gaby."

" And you say his name is Nathan, I don't think I know any Nathan who attended this camp."

I now regret why I even told the girls about this , curiosity is written all over their faces. I try describing the guys posture, the way his voice sounds, but it seems a number of guy fit well in this description, so it's not really helping.

"Don't worry guys , I'm sure I'll get to see his face today. Right now, all we have to think about is what we are going to wear today, remember that the we,re having beach games the whole day , so I was wondering if these shorts would be perfect for this"

I say as I put up my shorts which are gorgeously decorated with animal print designs , they are so short that they only cover my buttline but who cares, everyone else was wearing something like that.

"They look perfect Gaby , I think we should all shorts and tank tops, that will look really cute."

We all decide to wear almost the same thing . At the beach ,we play various games like Water bucket relay, beach bowing, beach volley and my favourite Squirt ball. Each person is given a beach ball and squirt gun,and we all have to stand across a line drawn in the sand, each of us has to squirt their ball with all of their might to get it across another line down the beach.Run to the water's edge to refill our guns if water runs out or to begin the game again. I swear this was the best game ever. I had gotten to know more people and I really didn't feel out of place anymore.It was getting a bit late and i felt tired, I really wanted to go and lie down.

Then a short blonde girl shouted " we HAVE to play spin the bottle,"

Everyone agrees with her and we all decide to sit, in a circle under the shade.The guys bring bottles of liquor and coke along with some tumblers and some snacks for everyone.

I wasn't too keen on the idea,knowing that cheating was all too easy for this game.Whilst I was busy talking , Gavin walks into the shade .

Holding up the electronic spin the bottle device, in a deep ,sultry voice he uttered, "Did someone say spin the bottle? "

As he sets down the device and pressed the button to begin,the bottle spun,and everything went into slow motion.I was so deep in my thoughts until Shaey tugged on my arm and said , "it's you! It landed on you!"

Was this really happening , why me, I just wished that the earth would swallow me there n then, I wasn't ready for this.

"Gaby, so , bottle landed on you sweetheart, what will you choose,  truth or dare ?
I gladly choose truth because I wasn't in the mood for dares. And who knows what Gavin had in store for me.

"Who do you thinkis the hottest guy here? If I asked you to make out with someone right now, who would that be?"

Jayson has a smirk on his face and I can see that he's helplessly expecting me to mention his name. I just ignore him and I try to look elsewhere
I really think that Josh is cute and I wouldn't mind making out with him but I can't mention his name since Shaey seems pretty much into him.
The same applies for Gavin and the guy who was with Loe last night.

Then I notice the guy who was sitting beside Violet , he has dark blonde hair over his pale tanned face and covered his gleaming green eyes. His nose and chin were perfect and he had a little stubble. He has pink lips.

"I'd pick him " i say as I point at guy

He offers me a soft smile and apparently he introduces himself as George.

People start taking turns spinning the bottle
People take different dares, Sammy was asked to jump into the ocean whilst naked and she did. Gavin and Sharon had made out in front of all of us. As if what I told him wasn't enough Jayson moves over and same beside me, to my right. In had told him to stay away from me but he didn't seem to get it.
Loe takes her chance to spin the bottle and it lands on Jays. He chooses dare.

" I dare you to kiss the person on your left."

Omg, what was Low trying to do , was she possibly asking Jays to kiss me? What was she getting at? I noticed the expression on Violets face and she didn't seem to like the idea, obviously.

He turns his head to face my direction
"So, cupcake, I have to kiss you."
He's always used this nickname.I used to find it cute but not this time around, not anymore.

JAYSON 'S POV

I turned around and found her face , her mouth was already waiting like a question. I'm not gonna make it out to be something that it wasn't .it was perfect , Gaby's soft lips against the bite of liquor and sugary coke still on our tongues . She did more than just not stop me. She kissed me back.

So I still have this effect on her? Does she really love me like she claims?
To be honest ,when it comes to Gaby I'm not really sure of what I feel for her. It all started of as a dare and I later realised that she was making this whole dating thing a big deal. But somehow I felt attracted to her. Yes, I've been dating Violet for a long time now but she doesn't turn me on as much as Gaby does . Yes that's it. What I feel for her is just physical attraction right? I surely hope so.

GABY'S POV

and he's kissing me . once ,twice,until I've had a taste and realise I'll never have enough. He's everywhere up my back and over my arms and suddenly he's kissing me harder, deeper , with a fervent urgent need I've never known before.

" Whoa whoa! Should we get a room for you two ,"

Joshs comment makes me realise that the two of us were getting ahead of our selves and I had to pull away from him. I sense jealousy in Violets eyes and shockingly, I notice the same look in George's eyes but I just brush it off, I tell myself that I'm seeing things that ain't there.

It's about 10pm and we all decide to retire to our respective tents.

Sammy and Shaey seem pretty stoned out so they both go to sleep as soon as we get to the tent.

There's an awkward silence between Loe and I and I decide to ask her why she had made me kiss Jays

" What was that for ?"

"What? Ooh the dare , it was just a game, nothing personal , unless theres something you would like to tell me."
I can sense sarcasm in her voice but decide to let that go
I wasn't sure if I was ready to let anyone know about my past relationship.

So I just promised to tell her everything the next day . I was planning on coming up with an excuse if it meant avoiding being alone with her.

" Okay fine , tomorrow then , goodnight babes."

"Goodnight Loe"  I told her, and we both retired to dream land.
