DOES HE DESERVE IT

"What was he doing here?"

"I don't owe you any explanation Jays" I say whispering

I don't know why I'm always this nervous around him. Inowe him nothing really

"I just want to know babe"

Icould  see his fists clinching,  one thing I should hate about Jayson is his anger issues but I I think that's one of the things I like about him # I don't really know why I'm always attracted to to bad boys.

"Okay , I bumped into him at the mall."

"Ohhh really, what is he doing this side, is he staying with his aunt , the one who stays a few houses away from here?"

"Yes , wait, how did you know about his aunt. It seems like you two know too much about each other, is there something I should know?"

"No, he mentioned it once , at school, I mean,  at camp."he stammers

"If you say so" I mumble as I move over to the other side of the room

"So, what do you want us to talk about?"

"You know what I want from you baby girl. I just want a second chance, I'm not asking for more, I know I've been a jerk to you because of the pressure from the guys and all, but I'm telling you I'm a changed person now, I really miss you Gaby. If you don't want me back , we could at least be friends. Are you cool with that. "

"Ooh well."

"Ooh well what? Don't tell me you can't even stand us being friends "I can see the shocked expression on his face

"Jays , I don't really know what to say . The idea of us being friends doesn't really sit well with me. I still haven't gotten over the things you did to me. And.."

"Babe, I know how you feel. All I want , for now, is for us to be friends. I promise that I won't hurt you ever again, I'll never try to do anything against your will. I'm sorry Gaby.
I swear he sounded real this time around! !He really did, but did he deserve another chance? It wouldn't kill to be friends with him would it

" Its fine Jayson, we can be friends ,I just have to learn to move away from the past.
He moves closer to me for a hug and the smile on his face is priceless.

I notice a sexy smirk forming on his face and I know that he's about to say something stupid. That's how well I know Jayson.

"I knew you were gonna say yes ,I'm too sexy to be resisted ."he slowly hugs me and only now do I notice that I really missed him .

"I have to go now,  before your mom comes back .we both know how much she hates me lol, "

"Yea right you have to get out of here before she comes , im really not in the mood for more drama. You know your way out." I say as I throw myself onto the bed.  I really need to talk to George now.

He takes a few steps towards the door but he turns back before he reaches . The expression on his face is neutral so I can't guess what's on his mind

"Gaby..?"

"Yes?"

"The least you can do is just walk me out."

"Really now. ..but You do know your way around (I can see one of his eyebrows go up and I know exactly what that means.) Okay fine , I'll walk you out."

I get of my bed, walk him downstairs and come back to my room. As soon as I sit on my bed I hear my mom's voice calling me from the kitchen.

"Hey mom, I didn't see your car drive in."

" i got here about 10 minutes ago ,You obviously did not. You were busy with that boy. What was he doing in your room Gabriella?"

My mom knows I don't like my full name and when she uses it, it's a Sign that she's angry at me, like really mad.

"Umm we were talking"

"In your room? You couldn't talk in the living room, the kitchen or even , outside?"

"Outside? Really mom? "

"You know I don't want that boy in my house. What was he doing here ?"

" I told you that he's been apologising for a long time now. So we decided we'll be friends again and see how it goes. "

"So you forgave him?I'm not saying you shouldn't or anything but you really have to be careful with him. I'll respect any decision you make .If he hurts you again, just know that you'll have my shoulder to cry on. I made the same mistakes with your father and I wouldn't want you to go through that too. "

"Its okay mom , I'll be careful. And thank you, I love you"

Whenever she talks about my father,  she gets soo emotional , I can see that she wants to cry but she keeps holding back her tears. She's always tried to be strong for us. Ever since our dad left us for another woman , mom had been my pillar of strength. Especially looking at the fact that he had a kid my age out there, it shows that he had been having an affair for yes and I'm sure this hurt my mom. I don't get along with my father's daughter although we are the same age . Especially since I found out that she had made out with Jayson even though she knew that I was dating him. Too much for being in boarding school.

My mom gives me a very warm hug and I really needed this. The whole Jayson thing is really confusing

"Where is Trey by the way?"

"Oh, he went over to Brad's place. "

"Can you go and get him, it's getting late now. "

"But mom, he knows his way back."

"Okay fine, I'll go and get him myself but just know that you have a curfew now." She lets out a blackmailing laugh and I'm left with no other option than to go and get the little brat.

"Hey Princess"

"George , how are you ?"

"I'm hanging in there , you've come to get Trey?"

"Yes , could you please call him for me."

"Is that the only thing you came to do?"

"Umm look George.I'm really sorry about what happened earlier, I just had to talk to Jays and clear some things."

"You still like him right?"

"No, I dont"

I really don't understand why he's asking me this question but yea, I just had to give him a firm NO.
Although I really didn't believe the answer myself, I just had to make people believe that I had nothing to do with Jayson anymore.

"Ummm , I was wondering if, if you would want to go out with me for the movies tomorrow evening ."

"Yes, I wouldn't mind, I'll gladly go with you."

I can see the relieved look in his eyes

"Thank you princess, you have no idea how nervous I was , I didn't expect you to say yes to me given the fact that we became friends just a few weeks ago"

"Lol don't be silly George , I really do like hanging out with you."

" Okay then , I'll pick you at your house tomorrow , 5pm will do right? "

"Yes 5pm will do."

Trey and I head back home. We had supper , I cleaned the dishes and went up to my room. I saw tones of messages and many other notifications but I just replied Mikayla's who was blubbering about how she was so excited about coming back home in two days bluh bluh...

I got a call from Shaey and after that I decided to sleep

I switched off my light, closed my eyes and in no time,I was already in dream land.
