To say I love you more than life,
Would be completely true,
But then, I've never favoured life,
The way that others do."I love you more than air to breathe",
Sounds a romantic score,
But air is filled with germs and dirt,
Its not hard to love you more.I love you more than chocolate,
Understatement of the century.
Chocolate makes you fat, gives spots,
But you are filled with beauty.I love you more than books,
Which you may think is a lot,
But books are just dead wood and words,
Eventually they rot.I love you more than woodlands,
My favourite place to walk,
Or they were until I found out,
I could stay with you and talk.I love you more than money,
But then its never been my love,
Ive never wished for riches, wealth,
So give that thought a shove.I love you more than history,
My favourite subject,
But its just stories of the dead,
So that comparison's wreaked.I love you more than animals,
Even the fluffy ones,
But then they run and bite and poo,
So you'll always be more fun.I love you more than anything,
And nothing seems enough,
To tell you how I feel for you,
It all sounds like a bluff.I cant think of an example,
Or comparison to show,
How much more I love you,
Than anything else I know.So I'll have to give up trying,
On finding things to match,
How I feel when I'm with you,
It all seems a mismatch.Instead I'll simply settle,
For saying "I love you",
And hope that you can understand ,
Theres nothing more than you.
