Fear

"Fear is weak and despair filled"
Says those who do not know,
What its like to be afraid,
The horrid to and fro.

Fear effects your body,
Sickness, shaking, pale,
Life becomes difficult,
Set yourself up to fail.

But fear is not a weakness,
It shows wariness, common sense,
That there are things in this world,
Which hurt, bring death hence.

And looking past the logic,
Which helps us to survive,
Fear gives way to something else,
Which wouldn't exist otherwise.

From fear comes courage, bravery,
Which would have no place without it,
You cant be brave if not first scared,
Fear makes courage fit.

So next time they call you weak,
Make fun of you and laugh,
Or say you should man up,
And say that you won't last,

Remember that you can be brave,
And far more so than others,
It can make you stronger,
Fear and bravery are brothers.

Your fear gives you courage,
And many do not know,
That fear is the starting point,
From which we all can grow.
