Alice's POV
We had been walking for several hours and i was getting pretty damn tired of Alan's questions.
I could hear Ronnie laughing as i yelled at him. "Alan, if you ask one more goddamned question about how far we have to fucking walk, i will fucking stab you in the motherfucking throat. I will personally make sure your death will be slow and it will be so fucking painful."
He just gaped at me but i held my glare. "I don't really see the difference in you two girls." He exclaimed.
"You see Alan," Ronnie said walking along side Austin, "I'm more 'think before acting' and Alice is more 'I'm going to stab you now'"
I smiled and nodded. Everyone laughed as Alan took a couple steps away from me. "I'm a highly functioning sociopath." I answered, smiling. I could feel Party's body shake beside mine in laughter.
We feel in a comfortable silence as we watched the van full of the second half of our group come speeding towards us. We got ready for an attack as they got closer. We stopped walking as Kobra skidded in our path.
"We're almost at the Inn. We drove to it and told Dr D we're on our way." He said. Party nodded and said "Alright, can you explain to him that we're having some company?" Kobra nodded and started the car. Soon enough they drove away and became a speck on the horizon.
After 2 more hours of walking they finally reached the Inn.
Alan looked up at the old, worn down building and said "Are you sure this is the place? I won't be happy if this isn't the place." I snapped. "Ronnie, either you hold me back or he has to run." I said in a quiet voice. I turned towards him and he looked at me. He realized what he said and started backing up.
I felt a warm hand on me waist and a deep voice in my ear. "Leave him, you can get him back later." I thought over the words and a smile crept onto my face. I turned to see that it was Party that was attached to the hand on my waist.
"Fine. I can wait." I said in a sarcastic sad voice. He chuckled as he led us into the building.
On the outside, the Inn looked abandoned with boarded up windows and broken steps, but on the inside it looked like a regular place that just needed some tender loving care.
Old floor boards were under their feet and the dark red paint was peeling off. Over the years the walls had collected spray painted artwork and different posters from before everything went to hell.
Party led us to the old lobby that had couches and sofas and a smashed tv that didn't work anymore.
We found Ginny, Kobra, Tino, Phil and Ghoul playing this weird card game. Ginny slammed her cards down to show 4 a full house of 8's. She jumped up from her spot and booked it to the stairs with the the boys running on her heels. After a couple minutes they all came racing back down and Ginny jumping to her spot holding a silver spoon. They waited for the rest to come back and one by on the guys are stomping down the stairs. We watched Phil and Tino fight over the last silver spoon.
We were too busy watching those two fight over the spoon, we didn't hear the door open.
"Welcome Crash Queens and Motorbabies." A deep male voice said behind me. I screamed and turtled.
Ronnie was laughing hysterically as everyone watched me hyperventilate. "Jesus fucking christ. We need to get you a bell or something." I said. i calmed my heart rate and sat up. I reach out and held out my hands. Ronnie grabbed them and yanked me up.
