It was a peaceful day, the sun was shining it couldn't get more perfect. But it did
Off the hook had an announcement and your eyes lit up as soon as you heard the words " splatfest"
You had a grin plastered on your face, you were level 12 and still haven't played in a splatfest you were good at turf wars seeming as you could use your weapon correctly, this was your first ever splatfest and it was cats vs dogs ( Ik it's squids vs octolings but please go with it) obviously you were voting for p/t because you've loved c/d ever since you were little. Your weapon looked a bit dirty and could go for a little fix up but that meant talking to Sheldon " ugh " you thought and the smile which was on your face turned into a slightly annoyed look, you decided to get it over and done with plus it would only take 5 minutes walking to his shop you look around and there were squids and octolings voting for cats and dogs you decided to do it after you came back to excite you even more.

Entering Sheldon's shop wasn't as bad, it was dead silent or so you thought, this purple tentacled boy with no eye brows caught your attention and you felt like you were someone else, he looked over at you and you noticed he had c/d tee on ( which ever one you voted for it's the opposite e.g if you picked dog then Skull picked cat)

" yes what's it to you "
You asked trying not to sound as rude
" hopefully if we play against each other hopefully you won't cry when c/d team looses " he said in a cocky tone
" names Skull you should of heard of me ya know S4 "
You shook your head confused on what an S4 was

You said to him while touching him on the nose and walking past blushing
Skull looked at his nose also blushing

He said grabbing your wrist. The boy asked his eyes lighting up
" the names y/n hope to see you again "
I said to him blushing
" hope I'll see you after the splatfest you really are something else y/n " Skull said in his head while smiling to himself.
I'm sorry this is late and cringy, I'll do a part 2 and I'm realllly sad cuz I can't compete in the splatfest ( squids vs octolings) but if you are completing good luck to both teams! I'm rooting for squids sorry octolings ( even tho I'm an octoling In the game ) please feel free to request any character!
