Walking out the shop with a blush on my cheeks I felt my heart booming inside my stomach, I stood outside Sheldon's shop with my back to the entrance and gave a lovingly sigh to my self. This was going to be the best splatfest ever.
Walking to the boot ( to select you team ) you chose c/d and thought about the conversation you had with Skull. Even if he seemed cocky he seemed really cute, the way his eyes shined in the light of Sheldon's shop and the way he smirked when he was confident set your heart on fire, god he was so cute, I better play against him later on.

Watching y/n leave the shop made my heart ache a bit, the way her hair looked soft and her eyes looked when I was talking to her made my heart flutter like a butterfly, as I was walking around dumbfounded Sheldon called me over " Hey I cleaned your weapon would you like to hear about some other weapons they have great subs and specials" Sheldon said but I declined, my teammates were across the shop but I decided to ignore them as it looked like they were arguing with Riders team, again. When will they grow up I though to myself. There was no need for me to practice my weapon seeming as I'm a pro with it and I don't wanna exhaust myself when I beat y/n butt on this upcoming splatfest I may as well go home I thought to myself while walking out of inkopolis square.

As I made my way to the splatfest I saw beautiful lights flash everywhere and off the hook singing, the lights reminded me of Skull and I smiled to my self, I saw one of my friends goggles kun ( you were friends with him before Skull) and you went up to him " Hey y/n Chan " Goggles said with that childish voice of his which you never got sick off " Hey Goggles " you replied smiling " Do you know if Skull kun is here " you asked confused " oH yes he's in the lobby waiting for someone to join maybe you should go quickly" he shooed you off to go find him and you ran to the lobby, as you did you found Skull kun with 3 boys and 1 girl ( Ik that's not his real team but pretend these are his mates cuz he's still not in the mood to talk to his team because there arguing with Riders team) you joined the opposite team of his, he looked at you and you gave a childish smile while he playfully rolled his eyes
You both got to your base and the timer
Went off 3..... 2..... 1..... GO
you left your base inking EVERYTHING in sight and you got your special ready ( pretend it's tenta missles ) and as soon as you got it ready you saw a little laser thing near you, you automatically knew who it was " SKULL" you said to yourself smiling, you just about got away from him and sent missles at him and nearly got him " nice try y/n " he cooed and mocked you as he shot you, you couldn't believe what he just did and made your way to the tower ( the Map was inkblock art academy Ik just go with it (: ) as you sneakily made your way up there you you splatted him and smiled " nice try Skull " you mocked him and he rolled his eyes you only had 30 seconds on the clock and made you way to their base, you inked and inked everything and even splat a lot of players there was 10 seconds on the clock you squid jump to your base and ink some more stuff

4...... you inked more
3...... you got splatted
2... you respawned
1... you couldn't move

you sighed and waited for the results

As you made your way out of the lobby you saw Skull with a smirk looking at you, you ran up to him "HAH I BEAT YOU AND ITS MY FIRST SPLATFEST HAAHAH" you teased him dancing like a lunatic
Splatfest stars very late and it was nearly 12 you were done in and wanted to go home but Skull wouldn't let you " 20 seconds till midnight y/n " Skull said with a deep voice.

You didn't see what was such a big deal to Skull about midnight until you felt him grab your wrist and kiss you, blushing like mad you kissed him back and pulled away
" even if I loose I can't stay mad especially at you y/n " he smiled at you and you hugged him

He said and played with your hair as you giggled
