Gloves with a very.. trendy inkling. He was one of the freshest inklings in the whole of Inkopolis. He wasn't just any ordinary inkling,he was your best friend ever since you were 4. You two would always hang out. No matter what. When you were 12 you grew a strong feeling for him, no one knew and that's how you wanted it to be. You didn't want to say the wrong stuff and have him hate you. He was too important.
You were sat on your coach/sofa looking at tv shows because you were bored out of your mind. You didn't feel like doing a turf war because you stayed up till half 3 am because this place is too hot. It went up to 36 degrees and you felt like fried squid. ( is that even a thing?)
Flipping through the tv shows your squid shaped phone lit up and you got a message from the one and only, gloves.

Gloves was a flirt. Like a really big flirt. He was good at it aswell. You got really jealous when he flirted with girls because there were pretty. He's had girl friends and you were jealous. You wouldn't even talk to him. And of course because you two are best friends his girl friends got jealous. Usually when he has a girlfriend you wouldn't be interested. You'd be hurt. You thought he knew you have crush on him. Because a lot of people knew. And you always blushed when your near him. You were thinking about asking him out and how you were going to do it but you got cut off when the doorbell went off.
Looking at yourself you decided to just leave what was on you. A black sweater,and some shorts. You didn't bother with shoes, because you were indoors and wasn't going out.
You noticed a hair brush and brush your beautiful t/c tentacles before answering the door you smile at him
" Hey gloves come on in"
Yo smiled at him

He wasn't wearing any thing on his head and he wore a black t-shirt with white writing on it, I didn't see what the writing was because it was small but I wasn't bothered.

My mind went blank. I was shocked

I felt my hands being lifted up and a pair of lips on mine. And I screamed in my head. I didn't do anything. I felt him take his lips of mine and I panted.

He tackled me into a hug. He lay on me and I started playing with his neon green tentacles. My god they were soft

He said while drifting off to sleep
