*Miley's POV*
I have a serious love/hate relationship with Mondays.
That may be because my Mondays include with me dealing with interns who are looking to work their way up just like I had. Not that I mind teaching them a few things, but it can get annoying to have them take notes on my every move as if it would actually help them.
Another reason for my hatred towards Mondays is that I have to go to weekly meetings with editors from the magazine and discuss what ways we can improve our brand.
Though, there is a slight bit of good that Monday brings.
Me and Justin usually meet up and grab a cup of coffee and something to eat during our lunch breaks, which surprisingly are at the same time.
It was nice that we had this little daily routine, to be honest.
Though Justin has been a little distant lately and he isn't quite telling me what's wrong. Every time I try to talk to him he immediately brings up another topic.
Even if I try not to, I can't help but be a little bit concerned about him. One second he's happy and laughing, then the next second it's like he instantly put his guard up.
I'm trying not to question him about this too much because I know that it's not just like he can just tell me every little detail of his life now. It isn't any of my business anymore and he doesn't have to tell me anything that he doesn't want to.
I chewed on my bottom lip and dug my hands deeper into my jacket as an attempt to keep them warm, waiting outside of the Starbucks we usually met up at.
I looked around the busy streets to see if Justin was around, which he wasn't. He's never been late before which is surprising because back then he was late to every thing.
Seriously, the boy was even late to his own graduation.
Telling myself that I would wait just a few more minutes before going inside, I tapped my heels against the concrete ground. What is taking him so long?
Just as I was about to go inside, I heard a familiar voice calling my name.
"Wait! Miley!"
I then turned around to see Justin running towards me with his camera in one hand and his cellphone in the other. Once he made his way to be, he let out a deep breath.
"Well hello, Mr.Tardypants. What took you so long?" I arched an eyebrow and crossed my arms.
Justin shook his head, which was shockingly down instead of spiked up the way it usually was, and laughed.
"I got caught up in a photo shoot and I lost track of time." He lifted the camera up, flashing my a toothy grin.
I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but smile at him. "Alright, I'll let for slide for today but only because I'm starving."
We entered the popular coffee shop and ordered our usual drinks, then began to head to the local food truck that we both enjoyed.
"I can't believe that you actually turned out to be a photographer. I always imagined you as being an athlete." I looked up at Justin as we walked.
He shrugged as he drank some of his coffee. "I did want to do something related to sports, but during college I found out that I had a passion for capturing images and making memories."
I took this moment to examine his outfit, a loose grey trench coat that stopped just as his hips, dark blue denim jeans that had a few rips, and a white v-neck that showed off a piece of his large chest tattoo.
