I couldn't breathe. The room was spinning in circles. His warm body is pressed up against me, while my eyes saw the screen on my phone, which was still ringing. I'm almost certain he was the same person who told me we were never going to become a thing, so I should just forget about it. He's such a hypocrite, but I'm an idiot for not giving a shit and wanting him anyways. He confuses me so much it's hard to function.
"What are we?"
Jungkook froze, his grip tightening, "What do you mean?"
"Just a while ago, you said we will never become a thing. That this is not some fairy tale. To not get my hopes up thinking we'll become something more than just a flirtatious, sexual tension driven booty call or whatever."
The phone finally stopped ringing, his arms loosening. He turned me around, and to my surprise, his eyes were red, "I-"
Then his phone rang, making him shut his eyes in annoyance and relief. What terrible timing. He walked towards his phone, but I grabbed his arm, "Jungkook," I said sternly, looking into his eyes with such eagerness for his response. However, he still went for the phone. What the hell?! "Hello, Taehyung?" He said into the phone. I stood there in anger, an ugly pout plastered on my face. "Yeah, she's with me." He looked at me and gave me an apologetic smile, but I wasn't having it. I scoffed at him and rolled my eyes, facing the opposite direction. He sighed, "Yeah, sure. We'll be there in about an hour." An hour?!
"Okay, bye." He hung up the phone and put it in his back pocket. "I thought that was our last run through! You pinky promised!" I yelled at him, but he just giggled as a response. "Why are you laughing?! This isn't funny!"
"You're cute when you're upset."
I choked on my words. I'm mad at him, but I still find it hard to be mad at him. You know? It's like when your dog ruins your shoes. You're mad in the moment, but in the end, you love them to death.
"Don't change the subject!"
"Come on, I told the guys we were going to get food on the way home," He walked towards me and got close to my ear, "That's why we're getting home in an hour."
Smartass.
After getting food for the boys, we starting making our way home. "You still didn't answer my question." "What question?" I smacked him on the arm, "Do you seriously not remember the whole, "Don't answer the phone" incident?" He chuckled awkwardly, "I don't know myself. That's why I can't answer your question." I pressed my index finger in between my eyebrows, "So, you're telling me, that you don't have the slightest clue what you define our relationship?!" My question gradually became louder throughout the phrase, making him cover my mouth. I licked his palm, making him pull back his arm in surprise, "You licked me!"
"So? We've done this before." He exchanged one the the bags of food in his recently licked hand, "Well, that means no food for you!" He began to take bigger steps so I would lag behind. "No! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it!"
"Guess who's here?!" I said excitedly, the guys looking towards my direction. "FOOD!"
They all ran past me and took the bags from Jungkook, who was clearly unfazed. I crossed my arms in defeat, "Hoes...." I murmured. "Yeah, I would think you would know their habits by now, since you've been living here...wow, three months." I looked up at him, his ear to ear grin pissing me off. "Bite me." "Sure. Where?" I didn't even bother responding to his remark, already making my way to the kitchen. "You better not have ate it all!"
After eating my fill and taking a shower, I was changing into my pajamas so I could go to bed early, because Jungkook's ruthless dance session tired me out. Right when I put my shirt on, the lights went out. Fucking great.
