—3:30am—

Winn woke up to thump, he stood up to see Alex trying to make her way to bed but was obviously still a little drunk.

"Here let me help you."

Alex didn't really know how he got there or why, but she didn't really care right now.

"Winn. Can you stay here tonight?"

"Yeah." Even though he was anyway.

He waited for her to fall asleep and then went to sleep on the couch.

—The Next morning—

The next morning Alex and Winn talked for hours. They talked about her feelings, and how she felt about life and how she wanted to end it. And he told her that she was wanted. She cried a couple of times. She had finally broke through, and let her feelings out.

It felt good, to have someone to talk to. She was just one step closer to happiness.

They played shoots and ladders,

"Hey your cheating!" Alex laughed. She laughed for the first time in a long time.
They both laughed when they were interrupted by Winn's phone buzzing.

"It's Kara."

"Don't answer it." Alex's eyes began to fill with just thinking about what Kara will say to her about "hiding her feelings from everyone and to open up" She tried to be strong and not cry about it. But Winn noticed,

"It's okay, you can cry." With that, Alex began to cry.

"Come here." Winn whispered and hugged her while she cried. It only lasted 15 minuets.

"Thankyou. Can we get back to the game?"

"Haha sure. Where was I?"

"You were cheating, that's where you were." Alex laughed.

Later that night, when Alex was supposed to be asleep, she felt really sad and the need to cut. She got up and went in the bathroom, she pulled out her razor, it was like her friend in a way, one she never really showed anyone to.

She pushed the razor down on her wrist and made a cut. She started to cry as she watched the blood spill out. She was about to make another cut but the razor was taken out of her hand. Winn got some tissue and stopped the bleeding, then covered it with a larger sized bandaid.

Alex's eyes searched the floor in shame. She felt arms around her and let herself melt into them. She hugged back,

"Come on." He said softly and guided her to bed.
