Broken

Olivia:

Courtney, Keith and Noah left after filming to go to a convention. Shayne was staying late at the office to finish some things. I left work after filming and drove home. I was excited to spend time with my boyfriend James. He leaves for Mexico next week so today was the last day I got to spend time with him. I parked my car and went into our apartment. I went inside and heard the shower running. I went to the bathroom to suprise him.

"Hey!" I said yanking back the shower curtain.

"Eeek" A redhead girl said and covered herself.

"Who the fuck are you!?" I say bewildered.

"Lucy you ok?" James says walking into the bathroom.

I give him a death stare. He turns and sees me and jumps out of his skin.

"Fuck" He says.

"What the fuck James!" I say mad and heartbroken.

"I'm real sorry Liv" He says.

"I just needed someone who was here more often" He says.

"Are you serious!!??" I say getting even angrier.

He trys to touch me to calm me down.

"Don't you fucking dare!" I say and storm out the apartment.

I get back into my car and drive to the place I'll know I can cry alone. I pull up in front of the Smosh office building. I take the elevator up to our floor crying and go to the squad room which is dimly lit. I sit at my desk and begin to sob. I'm drenched in tears when I hear someone say my name.

"Olivia?" A voice says.

I turn and see Shayne standing there. Fuck! I forgot he was still here. He's the last person I want to see me bawling my eyes out.

"Please leave" I say.

"No" he says.

"What?" I say suprised.

"Not until you tell me what's wrong" He says.

"..... Fine" I say trying to hold back tears.

He comes over to me and hands me a box of tissues. I try and wipe my face off as best as I can.

"It's James" I say.

"What about James?" He asks concerned.

"I went home to suprise him and he was cheating on me with some bitch" I say angrily.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry Olivia" He says.

"I'm so upset, I thought everything between us was so good" I say tearing up again.

Instead of handing me a tissue he turns my face with his hand. He wipes the corners of my eyes with a tissue.

"Fuck him, you're still Oliva Sui" he says.

I let out a slight laugh.

"Olivia Sui is the strongest lady I know, she doesn't need no man" Shayne says.

Thanks Shayne" I say with a slight smile.

Even in the worst of times Shayne always manages to make me feel better about myself.

"I would never cheat on you" He says.

"Shayne we aren't together" I say chuckling.

"Yeah I know, I'm just saying" he says.

"And even if we wanted to, we couldn't because of the office rules" I say.

"I know" he says looking away.

"Plus you're my best friend" I say.

"Yeah I know" he says sighing.

"Shayne?" I ask.

"Yeah?" He says.

"Thanks for cheering me up" I say.

"That's what friends are for" he says giving a slight shrug.

I smile and give him a hug. We hung out at the office that night and ordered takeout and watched Netflix before falling asleep on the beanbags.
