Saviour (pt.2) for Kat

Kat's pov;

My eyes flutter open and I'm met with excruciating pain in my head, it's as if every noise is amplified to be 100x higher. I look around and notice that I'm not in my room. Instead I'm lying on a couch in Bryce's house with somebody's coat covering my cold body.

"Kat?"

I groan. "Whoever that is, stop shouting!" I whisper clutching my head in complete agony.

A head appears beside me and I scream thinking that an intruder had broken in or something. But then I stop having an internal panic attack when I realise that it's just Alex.

"Alex, for goodness sake..." I pause to catch my breath. " you scared me half to death. "

He chuckles and then pulls himself up to sit beside me. " How long have you been awake?" I ask.

"Well, you've been sleeping since 1am and it's 4 now and the last few people left about 20 minutes ago." He replies.  " so I haven't had any sleep.. " While he was talking I took the time to admire him and his face he's one of the strongest people I know.

This past year everybody at Liberty high have been through so much and I really admire Alex because he's pulled through...     Sure, he shot himself and he -along with everybody else- have had breakdowns where they feel as if they couldn't carry on anymore but he is here now and that's all that matters.

"Kat?" I'm broken from my trail of thought when Alex snaps his fingers at me. " you've been like that for about five minutes...are you okay? "

"Yeah..."

"What was you thinking about?"

I pause. Do I tell Alex that I may have a slight crush on him?

"You...?"

He looks at me with something in his eyes, it's a look that I can't decipher ( and I'm usually very good at that ).  we sit there in a comfortable silence staring into each others eyes.

Alex starts to lean in and so do i...but I'm not very good at direction so we bash our noses together causing us both to burst out laughing.

"I'm sorry about that.." We both say in unison.

The laughter then does down again and we resume sitting in complete silence looking into each others eyes.

We both lean in again but this time out lips touch causing tingles to erupt in my body. It was a passionate kiss and it lasted for about thirty seconds.

"I've been wanting to do that for a long time." He tells me, whilst still trying to catch his breath.
