"They are not a boy band" Naomi demanded. "They're a band." Added Hailey. "They are a big hit in this generation!" I could feel their sincerity in their words while they were talking about them to me. It's weird what boy groups give out to girl fans that makes them absolutely bonkers.
They were talking about this band the whole time we were eating. I just kept nodding my head sarcastically just to seem like I'm actually interested. "Wait, so their band's name is 5 seconds of summer? But.. They're only four." I asked jokingly. "Uh, weren't you listening? We said that it was just their name. It wasn't according to how many they are in the band" Hailey replied with her eyebrows pulled down. "Sorry, sorry. I.. Was focusing on me grub" I giggled. "You know, if you're not interested, you could've just said so. Now Naomi and I just wasted-" "Now, now" Naomi interupted, "It doesn't even matter. Just leave her be. Whatever happens, she still promised that she'll go to the concert with us."
After all the 5sos randomness they threw at me, we all decided to head back home. "Uhm, hey, Zoe." Hailey turned to me, "Can Naomi and I stay at your place for the night? Since it's summer break. It'll be fun." "I'm suppose to be writing songs tonight" My head resisted from them asking to stay the night. So, I just went ahead and said, "Yeah, sure." I guess I couldn't resist friends. "Nevermind the songs then, it could wait." I thought, smilling at the both of them.
