"Hi." He said to me, seeming quite cheeky.
"Uh, hey" Doubting myself to know his name, so I just went straight on it and said, "Sorry, but I didn't seem to catch your name last time." "Ah, I can see that you're not quite a fan." I nodded with agreement. "Well, my name is Calum" he introduced himself, with probably the most innocent smile I've ever seen. I smiled at him, as I said, "So what brings you here?" I stepped back to let him in my flat "and.. How did you know I lived here?" "Well," he sighed, "Luke told me what happened yesterday. About your little car ride." "Bloody bastard. He told you about that?" I replied bitterly. That guy was seriously getting in my nerves. "Yep." He chuckled. "Well, how did you know which floor I was in?" I asked curiously. "Your mailbox. It has your name, your floor and your room." He replied. "Did you not know that?" "Of course.. Yeah" I replied with . Well, it's been a long time since I've checked my mail.
"So..?" I asked awkwardly, as he just stood there. "Maybe he forgot what he came here for..." I thought. He snapped out, and said, "Oh, right. Sorry." I chuckled. "I came here to, um.. Apologise"
"For what?" I asked chiefly. "Well, for the whole stealing your song thing and for putting you up in this mess" He replied shyly "I know that it's really your song. It's just.. Luke can be stubborn sometimes, and when he does, there's nothing that can stop him." I nodded as I listened to his explanation. "Well, that's it I guess." He said to me, while opening the door. "Okay. Thanks for your concern" I replied. He got out of my flat, and head on.
I thought that was really noble of him. I carried on with my recording. When I finished adding on my vocals, I figured that the time would be almost midnight. I looked at the clock :
[12:54]
"Shit." I whispered as I remembered that I had to go to work the other day. "Screw the recording. I can get back to it tomorrow."
