"Ey, don't you have other concerts to be at?" "Yeah" He answered as he concentrated on the movie. "But why are you boys here in London?" I asked again, curiously. "Oh. They gave us three weeks off, since we had to take care of the song thing." He said it like it was no big deal. "Plus, Summertime Ball is just right around the corner, so we'll be in the Wembley Stadium in no time." I nodded as to let him know that I understood.
I took a slice of pizza and tried to focus on the movie. Despite that, I could feel that Luke turned his head to my direction. I pretended that I didn't know but I actually could see him starring at me from the corner of my eye. I instantaneously looked at him and tried to catch him, but he quickly looked back at the telly, and took a bite from his pizza like nothing happened. I tried to hide a smile yet, I couldn't help it. I sneaked a look at him and noticed that he's trying not to laugh. But just how hard he tried, it became more obvious as his dimple on his right cheek sunk in deeper.
After a while, we managed to eat almost the whole pizza, until there was one piece left.
"Take it" He said to me, motioning his head towards the pizza. I actually wanted to get the last piece, but I thought that it would be better if he just take it. Besides, he's the guest anyway. "No, I'm good" I replied quietly. He nodded, and took the pizza. It actually broke my heart, seeing that last piece get eaten by someone else. I looked back at the telly, and then Luke called me by surprise.
"Hey Zoe." As I turned to look at him, I saw him holding up a small piece of pizza in front of me. Seemed like he cut the last piece into half. "You know you want it." He grinned. I chuckled and took the pizza from his hand. "Thanks." I smiled at him, and he smiled back. Except, his smile was kinda different. His eyes were sparkling and his lips appeared to be genuinely soft. Also, the way he looked at me was like his eyes were glued to my face. It felt awkward, so I turned back to look at the telly. When I cleared my throat, he stopped starring and leaned back to the sofa comfortably.
There was never a time when I watched this movie and didn't cry. As in, there isn't a time when I didn't shed a single tear. But this time, I actually didn't. Either I've watched it too many times already, or I just couldn't concentrate much on it because.. Well, I didn't really know why honestly. However, when the theme song of the movie started playing, I heard a sniffing sound.
I looked at Luke and he was actually wiping his face with his hands. "Are you.. Crying?" I asked him, trying not to laugh.
