Chapter 4 - A Disaster (Part 2)

"WHAT?!" I shouted, "What do you mean the power is out ? IT CAN'T BE !" "I Hate to break it to you, mate," Naomi said softly, "but it is."

I noticed that I was only holding one side of my laptop, so I figured that Hailey was still holding the other side. I felt her putting down the laptop. I just followed the movement, because it's very hard to see in the dark.

After we put down the laptop, I stood up, and I tried to find Hailey and wondered where she went. "Got it!" Shouted a voice at the corner of the kitchen . The lights suddenly went on, and I saw Hailey near the power source. "Turns out that it was turned off all along" Claimed Hailey, pointing at the power source. "Phew. Now, I can delete the song from soundcloud" I said, taking a deep breath of relief.

I pressed the power button of my laptop, went to Soundcloud, and signed in. There was just one problem.. I couldn't sign in. "Um.. Girls, I forgot my password." Hailey walked towards me to examined the situation. She looked at the laptop's screen, looked up at me and said, "You're bloody screwed" I guess she was right. "Uggghh." I groaned "I'm just gonna go to bed. I'm knackered with all this shambolic night." "Goodnight" Naomi and Hailey said at the same time.

I went straight to the master bedroom, and jumped on the bed. I left the guest room that has a bunk bed, unlocked for Naomi and Hailey to sleep in.

The next day

I woke up with a sore throat. I decided to get my guitar, and tried to fill in the missing parts to my song.

Wait a minute..

MY SONG! I just remembered that my song was uploaded accidentally last night! Shiiiiiit.

I decided to head to the kitchen, hoping for a possibility that the magic of food with help me feel better. Once I walked up to the kitchen counter, I saw Naomi cooking. "Hey Chum." She greeted me, "I made breakfast.. Or brunch. Since it's already a minute past noon." It's rather odd seeing her cooking brunch for us, and having a big smile on her face. She's acting like a mother for some reason. "Uhm.. Where's Hailey?" I asked, while taking a piece of bacon and popping cashew nuts in my mouth. "Oh, she's taking a shower." Naomi replied, while she arranged the dining table.

Hailey walked out of the toilet, and joined us at the dining table. I've noticed that not only Naomi had a big smile on her face, but Hailey as well. "What are you two smiling about?" I asked them curiously. "It's nothing." Hailey replied, "At least nothing that you're concerned about." "Why do you lot always keep secrets from me?" I asked. They both looked at each other, then Hailey said, "Well, fine. But we're afraid that you won't even be interested in it much." They're smiles got even bigger, like it went from ear to ear. They took a deep breath then they both said..

"We just bought three tickets for the 5sos concert!"
