Rnngggggg...............

Finally, the bell rang and I was out of my misery. Math can be tiring sometimes, all the equations and formula made my head hurt.

"Come on Gab," my blonde hair friend called. She was standing at the door waiting for me. I gathered all my things and put it inside my bag as I went to her.

"Do you have a plan today?" she asked.

"Nothing in particular Sam," I replied in a bored manner.

"Let's go shopping!" she chirped.

"Do I have a choice?" I sighed.

We walked into the alley and everyone was looking at me. Well, I'm used to it. As the only heir of the Sullivans family, I am famous in my school. We are the most wealthy family here in our city and everyone is looking up on me. I'm being admire for my riches and my beauty. I know I'm kind of smug, but I am raise that way.

I walked head up high with my friend Samantha. Everyone was greeting me and I returned it with smiles. Well, more on a practised smile.

My attention was smitten when everyone stopped and looked on the other way. At that moment I felt like I'm invisible. What the heck did they saw? Or better to asked, whom the heck did they saw?

I gazed in the direction where the people were looking and saw an answer. I gritted my teeth with annoyance. I hate that guy! That Breece Timothy Fitzgerald! Well, they are my family rival in business and wealth, and I don't like his guts.

He walked on my way and our eyes met. His face was unreadable, and his slate grey eyes were staring at me. He paused in front of me and we start our staring game. I tried to decipher his thought, but I failed to do so. He is like a blank canvas. I studied his face and noticed his chiselled jawline and well-defined cheekbones. It was quite impressive how perfect his face is sculpted.

Just then, I realized that people were looking at us. I must break our staring contest, but I'm not the kind of girl that admits defeat. I masked my face with the sweetest smile I can muster.

"Hi Fitzgerald," I greeted him. A small twitch tugged on his lips,
is he smiling? Or it is only my imagination?

"Hello Gabriela," he replied. His voice was cold as ice that it sent shivered to my body.

"Breece! Come on, let's go! We're gonna be late," a guy called up to him.

"Hasta Lavista" he smirked then disappeared.

I gave a cold gazed to all the people who were looking at us, and slowly they disappeared like a speck of dust.

"What did Breece said? Oh my god. He is so hot! I will do anything to be his girlfriend Gab!" Samantha chirped.

"I don't know Sam! Forget about him, okay? And let's go shopping!" I commanded and she rolled her eyes. This little witch! I wonder if she is really my friend sometimes.

Adios Fitzgerald! I hope we will never see each other again.

Drowning ourselves into shopping, I didn't notice that it is already night. My dad called me up 'cos we will be having dinner together. It's our routine that every Friday we will have our bonding despite his hectic schedule.
