Chapter 1 - Anger

The halls were suddenly filled with the loud chattering of the peasants that roam this priso- sorry, I meant school. I fixed my glasses and made sure my always messy hair was still in the a bun.

 "Yow, babe!" I heard someone call out. I looked up to see my boyfriend, Alec jogging towards me.

Being popular can suck. I don't want it, but it was forced onto me since I was the captain of the female Soccer team. Because I held that position, people forced Alec and I together since he was the captain of the male soccer team.

He flung his arms around my shoulder and grinned. His pearly whites were a bit blinding but his smile was super cute. I returned the gesture with one of my own and snuggled closer in his arms. We walked to the cafeteria in comfortable silence and got our food. Compared to other high schools, our food was actually edible.

Setting our food down, we sat around the table that was already crowded with his friends. They greeted us and started their conversation, so i decided to drown them out because I could care less about what they were talking about.

 I felt a couple of eyes on me and so I looked up and rose my eyebrows, "What?" 

I received no comment and they went back to their conversation. I could hear them snickering but decided again that I could care less.

The sounds were getting really annoying so I quickly stood up with my tray in hand. 

"Where you doing?" I looked around at Alec and almost rolled my eyes. Did he not realise how uncomfortable I was getting? 

"I'm going to the bathroom. Will see you after school?" I asked while taking up my bag. 

He shook his head then responded,"I have something really important to do after school so you wont see me."

I nodded and kissed him on his cheek.

 "Well, I'll text you later." He nodded then I walked away from the table. I wasn't even far when I heard even more snickering. I disposed of my tray and headed towards the bathroom.

I was fixing my hair when I heard a loud squeal from outside the bathroom. Recognising the voice the squeal belonged to, I rushed into one of the stalls and quickly closed it. Stacey and her goon, Rebecca. 

God, I hated that girl. She is everything I hope my daughter doesn't end up like in the future. Stacey was your typical high school bitch. She loves attention, rich and a snotty little brat. The only thing I actually liked about her, is the fact that she's really pretty, but then her attitude totally cancelled out that feeling.

They were talking about something and since I had no way out of this situation, I decided to listen in on the conversation.

 "He said he's gonna meet me after school so we can talk." Ugh of course she's hooking up with someone. Rebecca giggled and believed me, I couldn't tell the difference between her laugh and a sick pig. 

"I can't believe that he's cheating on her with you, but she doesn't deserve him so it sucks on her side," Rebecca snorted.

Stacey laughed and slighted snorted. Damn a next pig to join the pen. 

"He said that she's boring and he can't wait any longer so I should meet him in the library study room." 

Which unlucky guy is it this time? And who does the dirty in a library? I heard them walking out but before the door closed Rebecca said something that absolutely shook me. 

"Like Alec Smith is super adorbs so you go girl."

My enter body went rigid and flamed up inside. This entire time, they were talking about MY boyfriend? The little shit is cheating on me with the girl he knows I despise. I felt my anger spread through my body causing me to get slightly red. 

I pulled out my phone ready to send him a very heated message, but I stopped as an idea popped into my devious little mind. A large grin took over my face as I stepped out of the bathroom. 

Those two assholes are gonna pay and i'm going to enjoy every single minute of it.
