We paused swimming and looked around, trying to find the source of the scream. In a split second we were back on shore because Oniah being the Green Mer came for us.
"What's going on?" We asked at the same time.
I finally saw the arms of a girl as she was struggling to pull herself up on a broken surfboard. I pointed towards her and Oniah quickly swam over to her. Seconds later she was back with an unconscious girl laying on her back. The tracker started beeping rapidly as they got closer. I looked at the girl's arm. The red bat started to shine brightly along with the blue wolf and Oniah's green tail.
"So she's the red vamp." I nodded as Oniah stared at her.
"She's really pretty." I looked up at Oniah to see her blushing. The girl was quite pretty indeed. Her skin was clean and tanned and her long brunette hair floated gracefully in the water.
"Okay! Let's get her out of the water and back to the house." As soon as Carlos spoke, he placed the still unconscious girl on his back and headed to shore. As soon as we arrived ashore, Jasmine rushed over to us looking at the girl in concern.
"Is that her? What happened?"
Oniah looked at her and responded, "looked like she wiped out. By the time I got to her she was already unconscious."
Jasmine nodded and we all headed back to the house.
"Place her in the guest room; I'll get some water for her." Jasmine said while pointing towards a white door that looked like all the rest. I nodded and we headed into the room.
Ruby's POV
I slowly opened my eyes and welcomed a minor headache. Groaning I slowly sat up off the bed that I was on. The only thing I remembered was seeing a girl with blonde hair swimming towards me before I blacked out.
"She's awake." A male's voice echoed through the room. I scanned the small room and spotted four people. A girl with black hair, a guy with brown hair and two girls that were blondes. I couldn't keep my eyes off the handsome young man that offered me water.
"Drink this." I smiled and quenched my thirst. "I'm Carlos and this is Hope, Oniah, and my older sister, Jasmine." he said while pointing to each one of them. Oniah looked at me and when I offered a smile, she blushed.
"I'm Ruby James. Nice to meet you all." They smiled and Jasmine came over to me.
"Do you know what happened?" I nodded.
"I tried to tackle a wave that was too big for me. Before I knew it, I was losing consciousness as soon as it hit me." They all nodded at my explanation. I looked down and my eyes caught something on Hop's leg. "Y-you, you're the Blue Wolf."
She nodded and smiled, "and you're the Red Vamp. Tell me, how did you get your mark."
I looked at my left arm and stared at the bat tattoo that stood there. They all leaned in waiting for my story. I sighed then started speaking.
