Chapter 23 - Love?!

I pulled the blindfold off my face and gasped at the sight in front of me. There laid a wet Carlos smirking at me. We fell because I made him loose his balance so now I was currently straddling him in the water. A blush took over my face and I was about to get up but dragged me back down, closer to him this time. I looked around but the only person I saw was a stray fisherman walking away from his catch.

"Shit!" I muttered. Things always got heated when we were alone. I looked at Carlos and his smirk widened when he heard me curse under my breathe.

"Oh won't you look at that! It's just us." I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes.

We stood in the water where the water was shallow but it was still enough to cover our legs and his waist. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt something snake around my waist and pulled me impossibly closer.

"Carlos what are you d-" I slowly stopped talking when I looked into his beautiful brown orbs, his hand grazing over my cheek removing the wet hair that laid there. His eyes were filled with lust, need but mainly love.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I held my head down and slightly blushed. His cold hand grazed my cheek before lifting my chin and removing the fallen hair out of my face. Looking straight into his eyes, I tried to hold back the small smile that played on my face.

"You know what?" Sending him a confused look, I dared to ask the question.

"What?" He smiled and hugged me then kissed my cheek.

"Hope Genesis." He shifted a little then continued, "I remember when I first met you. You tried to attack me." He chuckled as I laughed at the memory. I did get knocked out though, "I know we've only been together for a couple of weeks now but I found myself falling deeper for you every day," He exhaled and paused and stared deeply into my eyes, "What I'm trying to say is," I waited for him to continue, "Hope, I love you." I stared back wide-eyed.

I mean, do I love him? Well of course I love him. I just didn't expect him to fall for me so fast.

  You fell for him faster so what did you expect???!!! I snapped out of my thoughts and stared at him. 

Grabbing his shirt I pulled him down to my height and kissed him long and passionately. I pulled back after a couple of seconds and wrapped my arms around his neck. He lifted my body and my legs automatically wrapped around his waist. I giggled and looked into his eyes.

"I love you too." He grinned as brightly as a kid on Christmas morning. He smashed his lips onto mine but it was gently this time and full of.....love. Eventually we pulled apart and grinned at each other. He placed me back down and looked at me up and down.

"As much as that swimsuit looks sexy on you, I think it would look better on my bedroom floor." I wanted to blush and it slowly crept in but I smirked at him and tug his waistband.

"And I would love to see this on the floor as well." I winked at him, his face heating up. I felt something slowly poking my thigh and it was his turn to smirk. I chuckled at him.

"Is that what I think it is?" Instead of replying to me he picked me up bridal style and walked ashore with me.

"You mess with fire, you feel the burn after." Suddenly he sprinted to the house and into out room, locking the door behind him and throwing me on to the bed. My body bounced slightly and I looked at his smirking face. Looks like I'm gonna have a fun night. I giggled.
