Rory's POV
It's been a little while, maybe two months since Honor and I went shopping and Logan and I told the families.

I hear my phone buzz in the other room and walk in to get it.

Hey Rory, it's Honor. Want to meet up for coffee and go nursery shopping today?
Sure... let me get ready and I'll meet you at the Starbucks next to the mall?
Sounds good. An hour sound good?
Sounds perfect. See you soon!

I get ready and meet Honor at the mall with Logan.

"Hey little bro." Honor says.
"Hey Hon. Rory wanted me to come to help pick out furniture and stuff. So coffee?" Logan asks.

We get coffee, and after Honor and I persuading him into letting me have one small cup of regular coffee (also totally safe for pregnant women to drink small amounts of caffeine), Logan finally gives. I mean, you can't deprive a Gilmore Girl from coffee for too long.

We go to a few stores and pick up some stuff like bedding and I couldn't resist a few books for the baby. Well... more like books they can grow into and Logan and I can read to the baby.

"Okay so what colour is the nursery?" Honor asks.
"A light gray. I figured we can do lavender or green accents and white furniture." I say, showing Honor pictures from Pinterest of baby rooms with the colour scheme.

We finish picking out the theme and furniture for the nursery when I decide to call Grandma.

"Hi Rory dear. Is there anything wrong?" Emily asks.
"No Grandma. Everything is fine. I was just wondering if you would like to help me set up the baby's nursery. Honor and Logan are here too." I ask.
"I would love to, Rory. Maybe we can do dinner after too." She says. "We can go out, my treat. Or however you young folks say it."
"Sure Grandma. We're leaving the mall right now, if you want to meet back at mine and Logan's place in half an hour or so?" I ask.
"Sure. I'll be there!" Grandma says.

I drive us back to mine and Logan's house and we start carrying in the bags while we wait for Emily to get here.

After carrying in everything from the shopping adventure today, I'm sitting on the couch sipping a cup of tea when the doorbell rings.

I open it to see Grandma with two armfuls of bags.

"Hi Grandma!" I say. "Can I take these for you?"
"Rory dear. It's so good to see you." Grandma says.
"Mrs Gilmore, it's so great to see you again." Honor says coming up.
"Honor, it's great to see you too!" Grandma says. "Now, which room is going to be the baby's room?"
"I'll show you." I say and we go upstairs

"This is going to be the baby's room. We still have to paint it, and built the furniture and stuff but I was thinking gray walls, white crib, changing table and dresser and white rocking chair with either lavender or light green accents." I say. "And a white bookshelf which we've got tons of books for already."
"This is going to look wonderful Rory. Do you know the gender yet?" Grandma asks.
"No not yet. I'm hoping it's a girl to continue the tradition of having girls first but I think as long as the baby is healthy we'll be happy." I say looking at Logan.
"Yeah. I just need to make sure Rory and the baby are healthy and I'll be happy." Logan says.
"You're going to be wonderful parents." Grandma says with a huge smile on her face.
"Well, shall we call the boys to help set up the furniture and Grandma, Honor and I can start planning the decorations and making some food? Or at least calling for food." I say.
"Sounds good. You ladies go catch up and plan and call for food, whatever you'd like and I'll call the boys. I know they don't have a preference in food." Logan says pulling his phone out.
