11:25 PM, Mark's Place (Day 10/10)

"TODAY IS THE LAST GODDAMN DAY, WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!" Mark screamed, doing his daily pacing back and forth throughout the living room as the boys watched him.

The blue and black sparkles had returned once more as the wolf had taken Mark's place, still pacing around the room.

"I can't believe we have a wolf pacing around in our living room." Renjun scoffed, flipping through the channels on the TV.

The wolf made a loud growling noise, scaring Chenle and Jaemin the most.

Jeno signaled for the boys to lean in, whispering to their small huddle around the couch as Mark was still pacing around.

"I know we don't have any clue what that secret shit thing is but it definitely has something to do with Donghyuck."

The boys looked at Jeno, confused. "And how can you be so sure about that?" Chenle replied.

"Think about it. The moment Donghyuck left, is when Mark's powers started really going out of control. Mark hasn't been himself ever since Donghyuck left and it's all he ever thinks about. All I know is that the secret to controlling his powers is something between him and Donghyuck." Jeno smirked, knowing that he was able to figure out at least some part of what was going on.

"You're good, Lee. You're good." Jisung nodded, a small smirk forming on his lips as he chuckled.

"When am I not?"

Not knowing that Mark changed back to his human form, they were surprised when he spoke up, resting his arms behind the kitchen counter.

"Hey guys, can we go to the secret place? If I'm gonna get my soul taken, I at least want it to be somewhere I've made a lot of memories in." Mark's voice was soft and almost quiet, completely opposite from his tone earlier.

"Sure." The boys said in unison, already heading out the door with Mark behind them.

11:40 PM, Donghyuck's Room

"It's the last day. It's the last day. It's the last fucking day, what am I gonna do?!" Donghyuck shouted, thanking the heavens that his mother wasn't in the house right now.

If only I could help like I said I would, he thought.

"You good?" Donghyuck nudged him gently with his elbow, a small smile playing on his lips.

"I'm just confused on how I'm gonna find out what the secret is to control my wolf powers." He sighed, turning away to continue looking at the streets and lights.

"Well, maybe I could help? Only if you want me to, of course." The other boy said as the smile never went down.

Mark hesitated for a quick second before returning the same smile. "Yeah. I'd like that."

Donghyuck let a tear fall and winced as it hit his cut up lip, the salty tear falling into the cut.

Bruises were covering Donghyuck's body once again, the boy who was simply too weak was now worse.

Just then, a thought made its way through Donghyuck's mind, snapping him out of whatever daydream he was having.

He doesn't accept his mother.

He doesn't accept his mother for doing abusive things towards him, just like he doesn't accept Mark for being able to do things he wouldn't imagine happening in reality.
