10:30 AM, Hospital Room

Mark has been staying with Donghyuck for the past 2 days, today was his last day and tomorrow he would get released.

The nurses tried to tell Mark that visiting hours were only at a certain time but after seeing how much the boy would not leave the younger's side, they eventually let him stay.

Mark was currently watching Donghyuck sleep, in a non creepy way of course, and couldn't think about anything else other than the fact this was his fault. He felt so bad for taking Donghyuck to the secret place, if they hadn't gone then everything would've been fine. Mark's head turned to the window as he surrounded himself in his thoughts.

But then he realized, even if they didn't go, those men would've found them later anyway.

As Mark pulled himself out of his brain, he turned towards the hospital bed that Donghyuck was currently laying in, seeing that the younger was already opening his eyes slowly.

Donghyuck groaned, moving in to a more comfortable position, looking around the room until his eyes landed on Mark.

"Mark!" He beamed in happiness, which he did every morning he saw his boyfriends handsome face. He was stuck in this hospital only for one more day and he was happy that Mark stayed with him throughout the horror of the glowing white place.

"Hey baby, how are you feeling?" Mark smiled, moving his chair closer to the bed so he could talk with Donghyuck better.

"I have a little bit of a headache but everything else is fine. I'm glad I'm getting released tomorrow, I hate hospitals." The younger chuckled, intertwining his fingers with Mark's.

They both laughed together, the small room soon filling up with small giggles.

"JISUNG, I WILL PEEL YOU LIKE A POTATO IF YOU DON'T GIVE ME BACK THE REMOTE."

"WHY DO YOU EVEN NEED IT SO MUCH?!"

"BOY, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK I NEED IT FOR?! TO CLEAN MY ASS? I WANNA WATCH THE GODDAMN TV."

Jisung and Chenle were currently fighting over the remote, giving the other 3 boys a massive headache.

"Can you both shut the fuck up and share the remote?" Jaemin snapped, shaking his head as the two boys looked over at them in silence, frozen in their spots as they slowly backed away from each other and sat onto the couch.

"Idiots." The 3 boys said in unison, watching as the two other boys cuddle up to each other by the TV.

"You know, Donghyuck is coming back from the hospital tomorrow?" Renjun beamed, a huge smile appearing on his face.

The rest of the boys all mirrored the same energetic smile, cheering and high-fiving each other.

"I still can't believe Mark killed all those guys." Jeno said.

"Well, when you put it like that, you make him sound crazy." Jisung chuckled, wrapping an arm around Chenle's waist.

"Isn't he, though?" Jeno replied, in a tone that made it obvious he was joking.

The rest of the boys laughed, tears escaping their eyes. They loved making fun of Mark, no matter what, they always found a way to do it. Mostly behind his back but in front of his face made it just a little more funnier.

"Wait.. what's that smell?" Jaemin asked, his head peeking up and looking around the living room.

The other boys sniffed the air, smelling a burning scent that was so bad, they were pretty sure they didn't have nose hairs anymore. They all walked into the kitchen, Jaemin almost screaming at what he saw in the oven.

"WE BURNT THE COOKIES!" Jaemin screamed, his hands flying to his head, and in the most dramatic sense.

"SHIT!"

"WATCH YOUR FUCKING LANGUAGE."

"MY LANGUAGE?!"

"JENO, JISUNG, SHUT UP!" Jaemin yelled, pulling the cookies out of the oven, pouting when he saw how burnt the cookies were. The rest of the boys pouted all together, deciding to make a new batch with the extra cookie dough that was left over.

Some time later, the boys were sitting around the TV, watching some movie they found on Netflix—cookie crumbs were scattered all over the floor but they couldn't care less.

They just wanted Mark and Donghyuck home.

And they wanted the cookies, too, of course.
