11:18 PM, Secret Place

"Baby, come onnnn! It's a full moon tonight and it always shines perfectly on the waterfall because of the alignment. Let's go." Mark said, pulling his whining boyfriend towards their secret place.

"Is this also your way of distracting us from the people who know about your wolf thingy?" Donghyuck said, an eyebrow raising up.

Mark turned to face the other, their fingers intertwined as they both looked into each other's eyes, the moonlight shining onto the water in the most beautiful and magical way.

"I wanna show you something." Mark whispered, using his empty hand and holding it upwards. He looked at Donghyuck quickly before lightly opening his hand, the younger's eyes widening as he saw the beautiful streams of water that danced above his palm.

Small little lights traveled though the different water streams that crossed through each other in a pattern, the slim curves looking like transparent ribbons lacing together.

Each time Mark slightly curved his fingers or bumped his hand up gently, the dancing streams would change direction or travel in a new pattern.

"That's so beautiful." Donghyuck breathed out, his voice in a hushed tone.

"I know, I just learned how to do it the other day. I've been practicing just for this moment." Mark smiled, closing his hand to stop the magical water.

"God, I love you so much." The younger pulled the other into a passionate kiss, arms wrapping around his neck as the older put his hands on Donghyuck's hips.

Lips pressed together, moving in sync as they both got stuck in their own world.

Sadly, time wasn't on their side.

As they pulled apart from the kiss, they heard rustling in the bushes, a whole team emerging from behind the darkness. Mark instinctively pulled Donghyuck behind him, the younger grabbing onto the back of Mark's shirt tightly.

"Who are you? Why are you here?" Mark raised his voice, looking all of the men who were dressed in dark uniforms in the eye.

"That's classified information, wolf." A man said, a smirk playing on his lips as he stepped closer.

Mark stepped back, causing Donghyuck to almost fall but the other quickly caught him from the back.

"Come on wolf boy, you scared? We just wanna talk, that's it." Another man stepped up empty handed, but Mark could clearly see the weapon in his pants pocket.

"There's a gun in your pant line underneath your shirt, a pocket knife sticking out on the bottom pocket, and an oversized knife inside your boot. I'm not dumb, you all are armed and you all definitely don't just wanna 'talk'." Mark pointed out, his tone cold as he held onto Donghyuck with one of his arms behind his back, holding the younger's hand.

"I suggest you leave, you don't wanna see me when I'm mad and unfortunately, you're getting close to seeing it." Mark's blue eyes were glowing fairly bright, and his teeth were becoming sharper as he breathed in and out heavily.

The men laughed, "We're ready, kid."

"Aha! Look, the little boy behind him is terrified! We should just kill him." One of the men said, laughing as the others joined.

Donghyuck whimpered, his grip on Mark's shirt tightening even more. A small tear slipped out of his eye, wiping it as fast as it came out.

Mark finally snapped, the blue streaks in his hair turning a color identical to the one of a flame. His blue eyes glowing brighter than ever, looking as if they could pierce through your entire soul.

"Don't you ever talk about him like that. And if you lay even a single fucking finger on him, you'll be dead in a heartbeat."  Mark's voice was laced with pure venom, his heart about to leap out from his chest.

"Let's see what you got, kid. That kid will die sooner or later." Another man, who had a name tag that read, Hyungwon, said as he tried to hide a small smirk.

The blue and black sparkles surrounded Mark as he transformed to his wolf side, letting out a loud growl. The men stepped back as soon as they saw the huge size of the wolf, surprise evident on their faces.

"Holy shit, that thing's huge." Shownu muttered, stepping back along with the others.

Donghyuck froze, his mind processing everything before running behind a tree, sadly knowing he wasn't able to do anything.
