When Ivan was busy fighting against those vampires, all of a sudden, I was being lifted into the air.

I screamed, "Dad, HELP!"

The man who held me whispered to my ear, "Hush, My Lady! Don't be afraid! It's me Jasper. I'm not going to hurt you."

"Jasper, what are you doing? Let me go!" I demanded.

"Sorry, no can do, Princess," he said, holding me closer to his chest.

I twisted and turned, trying to break free from Jasper's clutches, but he tightened his grip.

"Daddy, HELP ME!" I yelled one more time.

Ivan glanced over her shoulder, and gasped when he saw me in Jasper's arms. He tried to approach us, but two more vampires sprang out at him, blocking his way. Ivan charged at those vampires, successfully knocking them down to the ground. Afterwards, Ivan ran towards me and Jasper. But before he could reach us, Jasper teleported me and him elsewhere.

In a blink of an eye, we already stayed beside King Bellamy. Jasper put me down and handed me to the vampire king.

"Thank you, Jasper. You did a good job," King Bellamy said with a satisfied smile.

"My pleasure, Your Majesty," Jasper responded. Without saying anything else, he disappeared into thin air.

"I will kill you if I meet you again, Jasper," I grumbled inwardly.

I tried to get away from my grandfather, but he kept a tight grip on my arm.

"No!" he snarled, shaking his head.

I knew I could never win against the vampire king, so I stopped struggling.

I swiped my eyes around the werewolves' front yard which had just turned into a battlefield. I found Alpha Wolfgang and Randolph fighting against some vampires in their wolves forms. Meanwhile, Ivan was standing before the front door. He looked around his surrounding, trying to find my whereabouts.

I struggled to break free from King Bellamy's grip, trying to get to Ivan. But the king tightened his grasp on my arm.

I flailed my free arm and shouted to attract Ivan's attention, "Dad, I'M HERE!"

Ivan snapped his head towards my direction. As soon as his eyes landed on me, he made a dash for us. But he got waylaid on his way by some vampires.

"Sigmund, take Mirabelle to the car now!" King Bellamy ordered as he shoved me towards Sigmund.

"Alright, Your Majesty," Sigmund replied.

"Come on, Princess!" Sigmund yanked me forward.

"No!" I dug my heels in, refusing to go with him.

Sigmund let out a frustrated sigh. All of a sudden, he wrapped his arm around my waist and threw me over his shoulder. At last, he started walking away from the battlefield.

"Put me down! Sigmund, put me down now!" I shouted as pummeling at his back and kicking at his thighs.

Sigmund didn't seem to be affected by my struggle at all. He continued walking while carrying me on his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

Within minutes, we stopped in front of an awaiting black car. A vampire approached us and opened the back door.

Sigmund threw me into the car, and climbed in after me. The vampire shut the door and then he got into the driver's seat.

I pulled at the door handle frantically, but it was locked. Turning around, I banged against the rear window.

"Dad, HELP ME! GET ME OUT OF HERE!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Stop it, Princess! His Majesty will be angry if he finds out what you're doing to his car," Sigmund warned me.

I ignored him and kept pounding my fists at the rear window.

"Dad, HELP ME!" I yelled.

But Ivan couldn't come to my rescue because he was still busy fighting against the vampires who were barring his way.

All of a sudden, King Bellamy approached the car. He opened the passenger side door and hopped into the car.

"Drive!" he commanded.

The driver nodded his head and immediately started the engine.

As the car began to pull away, I saw Ivan running after us, screaming my name, "Rosanne!"

I screamed back, "Dad!"

Before he could get any closer to us, two vampires reached forward and grabbed his arms, restraining him.

"I will come for you, Rosanne! I promise. Just wait for me!" Ivan vowed as he struggled with those vampires.

"I trust you, Dad," I mumbled as I laid my palms on the window pane. I kept watching Ivan fighting against the vampires until he was out of sight.

"What do you want to do with those werewolves, Your Majesty?" My ears pricked up at Sigmund's question.

I turned around, waiting for the king's answer apprehensively.

King Bellamy turned to face us in the back seat, and lastly replied with a smirk on his face, "I want to finish them all off."

"No, Grandpa. Please don't kill them! I beseech you," I begged with tears streaming down my face.

"If you want me to spare their lives, you must forget your stupid idea of living with your werewolf father! Do you understand, Mirabelle?" King Bellamy said firmly.

I nodded my head and whispered, "Yes."

"Yes what?" he snapped.

"Yes, Grandpa. I don't want to live with my dad anymore. I just want to live with you," I spoke louder.

"That's a good girl!" King Bellamy said with a satisfied smile.

"But you have to promise me not to hurt them, Grandpa!" I demanded.

"I can't promise that they won't get hurt, Mirabelle. But I assure you that I won't let my men kill them," he said before turning his attention back to the road ahead of us.

I leaned back in my seat and wept silently. I prayed my father, Randolph, and Alpha Adolph Wolfgang would be alright. And I hoped King Bellamy kept his promise not to kill them.
