There wasn't much I could do in this huge bedroom and I was getting bored. No matter what happened, I had to figure out a way to escape from this place or else I would end up being crazy. But how could I do that?

It was impossible to jump out of the window considering this bedroom was on the top floor. So the only way to escape was through the door. I knew it might be pointless, but it's worth a try.

I made my way towards the door and banged on it repeatedly. “Lupita, anybody, are you there? Please open the door!”

There was no answer.

I banged on the door again, this time was louder. “Please open the door!”

“I am sorry, My Lady, we can’t open this door,” Lupita replied from the other side of the door.

“Can’t you open this door for a moment? I need your help here,” I said.

“I am sorry my lady, we can’t,” Lupita said regretfully.

“Please...!” I pleaded.

There was a silence for a moment, and finally the door flew open.

“What can I help you, My Lady?” Lupita asked.

“I need you to help me open this door. That’s it,” I said as stepping out of my room.

However, two guards stood in front of the door, blocking my way.

“Move!” I ordered but they didn’t budge.

“I said move!” I repeated, gritting my teeth.

“Princess, Lord Sigmund has told you that you’re not allowed to step out of this room, hasn’t he?” one of the guards said.

“Not allow me to step out of this room, huh?” I smirked.

“Okay, as his wish. I won’t step out of this room. But can you move a little please?” I requested.

The guards looked at each other confusedly.

“Please!” I begged.

The guards lastly moved aside.

I took a few steps backwards and then I ran out of the room, passing the guards.

“Sigmund only said that you must not let me step out of my room. But he never says I can’t run out of my room, right?” I mocked them while chuckling.

But my victory didn't last long since I was abruptly bumped into someone's chest. I looked up and found that it was another guard.

The guard in front of me grabbed my arm and dragged me  into my bedroom again.

“I’m sorry, Your Highness, but you’re not allowed to leave your room,” he said.

“Shush!” I put my index finger to his lips. “Who is the princess here?”

“I’m sorry?” he looked confused.

“I am asking you, who is the princess here?” I repeated my question.

“You are, Your Highness,” he replied.

“Okay, then you shut up and listen to my words! I want to get out of this room now and all of you can’t stop me. Get it?” I said firmly.

Lupita said, “But His Majesty told us—”

“Since he isn’t here,” I interrupted, “so you must follow my order because I am your princess, understand?”

“But Princess, we are—”

“If you disobey me, I will report you to Grand—I mean to the King. And let’s just see what will happen next!” I bluffed.
