The next morning Rose woke up to pain shooting throughout her body. She never thought she was really THAT hurt. She decided to push herself to get out of bed because she had to use the bathroom. After painfully trying to maneuver her way around Todd, she went to stand up and within the first step fell with a thud. She never felt anything so terrible before. The boys were woken up by this and went to see what had happened. As she went to try again, she couldn't even sit up.
"Stop! You are going to hurt yourself even more!" exclaimed Todd.

She didn't respond, trying once again.

"Rose! Stop!" Said Neil running to her aid.

Rose looked up at them with tears in her eyes. " I just wanted to use the bathroom" she said in a small voice.

"Aww, I know Rosie, but your body can't handle that right now. I'll carry you." Cooed Neil.

Neil went over to Rose and comforted her, he then picked her up and took her to the bathroom.

Todd was a little bit jealous... he wanted to comfort Rose too! So he sneaked down to the kitchen to get her some hot tea with lemons.
As he was coming back, he knocked on Mr. Keating's door.

" Ahhh! Todd one of the brightest! What brings you here?" Questioned Mr. Keating.

Todd gave a weak smile and said, " Rose is hurt really bad. Me an...and Neil found her last night beaten and bruised. We... we have been trying to comfort her but sh..she needs a doctor."

Mr. Keating's eyes grew wide, the poor girl. Forced to live here surrounded by lustful boys, he knew she would get hurt. He just hoped her friends and himself could protect her.

" I'll tell the headmaster that Rose will not be attending classes for the rest of the week. And then I will call a doctor to come look at her." Said Mr.Keating. "It will be alright son."
Todd shook his head and walked back to his dorm. Rose was resting her head in Neil's lap as he told her a story. He placed the tea on the dresser and lifted Rose's legs so the were on his lap.

"I talked to Mr. Keating, he's going to get you a doctor, and you are off school for a week." Said Todd.

Rose groaned, " I'll never catch up!"

" If it helps all assignments are excused." Said Todd.

"And we would be glad to fill you in on any concepts you shall miss" cooed Neil as he kissed her forehead.

" Thank you," smiled Rose.

Neil stroked her hair as she began to fall back to sleep. He looked down and then up at Todd, this time he had tears welling up in his eyes.

" How could he do this Todd? I'm so scared for her. She isn't safe here, I don't know what to do. I hate that she has to endure all this pain." Said Neil.

Now, Todd was pushing back
tears shaking his head. " I don't know, Neil, I just don't know."
