Kara-

"I can't believe you Monel!" We both went back to my loft after I confronted him.

"Kara, I don't love her. She is just a person I've been hanging out with, she's a nice girl."

"Yeah! I know! That's what scares me!"

"Listen I'm sorry, let's just forget-"

"Forget?! Monel no! I just, oh my rao!"

"Kara, I like you. Not her. She's is ready just a friend."

"We can deal with this later. Just, I'm going to bed."

"Okay. I'll be-"

"On the couch. I don't want you around her. Just-"

"I'm sorry! Kara, I am sorry!"

"I'm sorry too. For what I said. Let's just forget about all of this. You're right." I walk to my room and sit down. I love Monel so much but he has been the most difficult man to be with. I start to cry just a little when he steps into the room.

"Kara, come here." He sits down and holds his arms out. I scoot over so he could hug me.

"Monel, I'm so sorry. Let's just be happy. You are the best man I've ever been with. You make me happy."

"And my love making?"

"You are pretty good. But just know that I love you. You know that, I hope. I always will."

"I know. I love you too." After he says that, I kiss him. Soon my hands reach under his shirt and so do his under mine. The kiss lead to a makeout.

He moves me so that we are in the middle of the broken bed. His legs are on both sides of me. His lips lead down onto my neck.

I try to get up when I hear a knock at my door. He pushes me back down.

"Monel!" I say laughing.

"They can wait."

"Come on, it's probably just Alex."

"Check." I look through the walls and door to see a fimiliar face.

"Oh my, Monel move." I push him off of me and walk to the door. When I get there, I open it up.

"Kara!" He says as he hugs me. "Thank God you're okay. I need your help."

"Peter slow down, I'm fine. What do you need?" He let's go of me when he sees Monel approach.

"I just, can we talk. Alone?"

"Yeah. Of course." I give Monel a look and I shut the door.

"I miss you so much Kara. Gamora, she doesn't need me. I really just want to be with you."

"Peter, I don't know what to say."

"Don't say anything just-" He leans in and kisses me. His hands go to my back. To be honest he is a good kisser but I love Monel so I pull away when he opens the door.

"What the hell?!" Monel pushes Peter against the wall. "Stay off of her!"

"Hey man. Who are you again?"

"I'm her, something." He throws me a quick glance full of anger.

"Oh yeah! You had the mother who tried to kill her!"

"Your the one who left her for another woman!" Monel punched him in the face.

"MONEL! GO INSIDE. NOW" I point towards the door.

"What? Me! He came onto you!"

"It's okay! We aren't together. Technically, I'm single."

"Mmm." He says in an anger tone as he slams the door shut.

"Are you okay?" I said as I freeze my hand to put on his face.

"Yeah, Daxamites are a handful. So are you together or..."

"I don't know. I really dont. Just, wyd plain why you are here."

"I would love to be together again but your busy. I just need a way to get in touch with the others."

"Okay, well come on in. Just don't mind Monel. He's... protective."

"Okay." I walk into th me house and as soon as I do, Monel pushes to get to Peter.

"Hey! Monel, just go to my room and calm down. He's going to stay here tonight."

"No he isn't!"

"Monel-" I put my hands on his face. He looks at Peter for a few more seconds so I jump in front of him. He finally looks at me. "-Come on, your better than this. I love you."

I give him a small kiss on the cheek before he walks back to my room.

"So you can sleep on the couch. Uh, we can try to get in touch with your team tomorrow. Nobody is at the D.E.O. right now."

"Okay. Uh, good night."

"Good night." I smile at him and walk to my room. I could feel his eyes start to wonder. That's when I see Monel stand up to fight.

"Nooooo. Sit down." I walk him back to the bed and shut the door.

"Kara, he was checking you out."

"Monel, there is no reason for that, he knows what I look like naked, and so do you. Whatever, nothing is going to happen."

"Just stay with me tonight."

"No problem. Come on." I lay down on the bed. I was still good enough to sleep on, it was just a little lopsided.

He lays down next to me after shutting the lights off.

"I love you Kara."

"I love you too, Monel. Let's get some sleep."

"Aww. Fine." He rolls over in a pouting manner. I put my arms around him and kiss him. He soon rolls back over. "That's my job." He does the same thing to me.

"Good night Monel." I smile. Half a year later and I'm still sleeping with him.
