Karamel: One More Time

Nine

I woke up to Peter by my side. My arm was stretched across him, and my leg. His arms were wrapped around me pulling me into a hug. 

"Good morning Peter."

"Good morning Kara. What's on the agenda for today?"

"I have to go to work for a bit, you can't come. Monel will most likely be there."

"Kara, maybe we can find my team."

"We already did. Right?"

"I never told you but um, I never found them. I didn't want to tell you because I didn't want you to worry about it anymore. You were moving on."

"I still would have helped you. Oh my Rao, let's go." I used superspeed to get changed. I give him his shirt and we go to his room so he could get changed.

"Ready?"

"Not yet, Kara. I don't have superspeed like you."

"Because you're a loser." He steps out in some white shorts and a blue tanktop.

"That really brings out your muscles."

"I know. That's why I wore it. Get all the ladies to check me out. You getting jealous..."

"Currently I am single, or it's complicated. I don't know."

"Well I'm single too!"

"Yeah you are. Let's go." I was in a blue summer dress. The same shade as his shirt. We arrived at the D.E.O. on time. I walked in front of him so I would see Monel first. We entered the main area where everybody was standing except for Monel. He was probably training.

"Kara! Who is this?" She said looking at Peter. 

"Oh yeah! This is Peter!" I said stepping out of the way. 

"She's told me about you. All good things."

"Yeah." I looked at him who had a smile at his face.

"But why is he here?" 

"We need to find his team. He wants to go home."

"Okay! No problem. But it might take a while. What planet are you from?"

"Actually Earth. But my team and I patrol the Galaxy."

"Send out a beacon for Peter please." 

"Okay, Winn, did you hear that?" Alex yells.

"Sure did!" He starts typing away at his computer.

"Where's Monel, Alex?"

"Training and hungover. Pretty sure he had a one-night stand."

"He better not have been at my house with her! They better have gone to her house!"

"Now that, I don't know."

"Okay whatever, I'll deal with him later. He is being a baby."

"Got a response!" Winn yells so we all run over. "Rocket?"

"Yes! Part of my team."

"Weird name for a person."

"Well good thing he's a raccoon." Winn looks at him until Peter starts laughing.

"Gamora, Groot, Drax, Mantis?"

"Beautiful, Tree, Annoying, Bug."

"That is a team." Winn said. 

"What did they say?" I ask.

"They can pick you up. They knew you were at Earth just didn't know where."

"Cool, where do I-"

"Come on Peter." I said laughing. I grabbed his hand and walked him to the balcony.

"Can I meet them?"

"Yeah, come on." I flew him up to their ship. When we got there, everybody was watching me and him. They all looked down at our hands so I let go of his.

"Who are you?" The raccoon said.

"Hi everybody! I'm Kara. Peter's, something."

"I am groot?"

"Oh my rao! This is Groot! You never told me how cute he is!!!!" I picked up the plant and saw a woman step out of a room. I looked over and saw her draw a knife. 

"This must be Gamora."

"Yeah, that's her." Peter said.

"Hi!" I waved. "Well Peter, I guess I should go. I have a city to protect and you have a galaxy to guard. I'll see you later."

"Okay. If you ever need me, I'll always be here for you." 

He put his hands on my back and kissed me. I put my hands around his neck and played with his hair. His hands dropped to my butt.

"That's my que!" I said as I pulled away.

"I love you Kara. Good luck."

"I love you too Peter. Good luck to you too." I flew back down to the D.E.O. and watched the ship fly away.

Peter-

I sat down into the cockpit. It was great being back. I look over at Drax and he was smiling.

"What's so funny?"

"You loved someone other than Gamora. And you touched her butt."

"You're immature. Shut up." I tried to stop from smiling but couldn't. Gamora came up and kissed me. YES!
