Karamel: One More Time

Fifteen

I wake up and immediately turn to look st Monel. My mind goes back to the memories of last night as I feel my skin on his. I get up to go and get some coffee. When I get up, I am pulled back down by none other than the love of my life. 

"Good morning Kara." He says as he gives me a kiss.

"Good morning Monel."

"Lay here with me."

"But we have to-"

"Shhhh" He says as he rolls on top of me.

"Monel!" I laugh. "Monel!" I laugh and yell at the same time. 

"What?" He laughs as he kisses me. He keeps doing it so I just put my hands in his hair and rest my head on his shoulder. "Kara, I love you so much."

"I love you too. More than anything." He sits back and looks at me. He looks like he wants to say something but just won't.

"We should probably go the the D.E.O."

"Yeah." 

"Okay, let's go." We both get up and fly to the D.E.O.

When we get there, Alex gives us both a childish smile. 

"How was last night Kara?" She said winking.

"Great, we cleaned then fell asleep."

"Uh huh, yeah right."

"What?! We did!"

"Uh no. But whatever"

"Any threats?"

"Just a cat in a tree but that's not a threat."

"I can do it!" I fly away to a cat stuck in a tree. After I get the cat down, I go back to see a little boy running around with Sam walking in.

"Whose this Sam?"

"This is the kid I am babysitting, he's a handful. Thanks for letting me come here, I just haven't seen you guys since Reign."

Alex and Sam hug while I watch Monel. The little boy runs up to Monel without him noticing. He runs right into his legs. When Monel sees him, he just looks down for a second then picks him up. 

"Hey buddy!"

"Hi! What's your name?" The boy was about three or four.

"My name is Monel, what is yours?"

"Jackson! I'm this many!" He holds up three fingers. It made me smile knowing that he was good with kids. Maybe for future reference, if he ever wants kids. He takes the boy and places him on his shoulders. Then he runs around a little, then he brings him to Winn and sets him down. They both laugh as he brings him back to Sam.

He glances me a sincere smile. Then he walks over to me and wraps his arms around me. I put my arms around his neck.

"I guess you saw that?"

"What? You are fantastic with him."

"Yeah, just practicing."

"Monel-"

"I'm not saying that I want kids now, just one day. With you."

"That's a big statement. I mean, where would we live?! I couldn't be a good mother! We are heros, we, we, we-"

"Kara, calm down!" He says laughing.

"I'm sorry, I just, we aren't even marr-"

"Kara..."

"Yeah?" I say releasing a big breathe.

"Marry me." My heart stopped. 

"What?" I say so quiet that I didn't think he could hear me.

"Marry me, Kara Zorel. I don't have a ring or anything right now but-"

"YES!" I jump and wrap my legs around him. He stumbles back into the railing. "YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!" I start to cry. I grab onto his shirt tightly and just hug him.

"I'm going to be a wife, and you, my husband."

"I am going to love you forever."

Monel sets me down and I turn to see everybody staring at us.

"Kara... why are you screaming?" Alex laughs.

"I'M ENGAGED!" I scream. Everybody is in shock until Alex runs at me full speed.

"KARA! NO! YOU CAN'T GET MARRIED BEFORE ME!" I laugh and cry at the same time. I am so excited and overwhelmed.

After Alex, Winn hugged me, then J'onn, then James, then Sam. Then some agents.

When Monel and I get home, he immediately pushes me against the wall.

"I love you so much. You are my end." He says.

"I love you so much too, you are my kryptonite."

After that, I think you know what happened. ;)
