Serverus's head pounded.He could not keep the memories inside any longer...
He was standing mere metres away from his family. Held hostage. Herma stood there with her two twin sons in her arms, Hermione at her dress, only a toddler, clinging to it-defiantly intimated by the men in black and skull masks.
"My Lord, please let them go!" he looked at Lord Voldemort. Shielding his mind from Voldemort. The almost noiseless man looked at him.
"Serverus, Serverus, Serverus! What have I told you? Do fail me and your family shall not be harmed. Now twelve men, of my Death eaters have been killed by the ministry. You were in charge of that mission. Your wives shall be killed and your children, no-they will serve another type of fate. Your children shall be enslaved, for pleasure." his raspy voice burnt Servers' mind. His hands was around the tiny phoenix turning it three times in his palm. They would come.
"Please my Lord, let them go free. Let me be punished instead. My wife and children are not part of this. It was my mishap-"
"Yours was no 'mishap'. It was a mistake of you, Serverus!" he screamed into his ear.
"Please, my Lord. I beg you. Have mercy on my family."
At that moment, there was a loud rumble outside.Imetiatly it got Voldemort's attention and he swayed across the stone room.
The protection and concealing wards were falling-literly.Shards of magic fell in huge clumps. That was not all-small at this moment Albas Dumbledore apparatus into the room along with the Order of the Phoenix. They started firing spells.Dumbeldore imeadtly turned toward Professor McGonagall. Her hair was tied in a fashionable bun.
"Get them out of here, my dear Minerva. Get Severus' family to safety." he said in a gentle manner.
Minerva immediately went in pursuit for the family. Taking on two death eaters at a time. Her magic was fierce and determined. When she reached the family no one other than Bellatrix stood in her way.
"Where are you think you going, Kitty?" she asked. Her back hunched like an animal protecting its little ones.
"I am getting my daughter, Herma."
"She's no daughter of you."
"Raised her like my own. After her parents died in a .I am her godmother. So she is my daugher.Just like those my godgrandchildren! Now step aside!"
"How about no!!" she taunted Minerva.
Minerva's face fell and she swished her wand at the woman. Bellatrix was hit by a giant wave that threw her off balance. She regained her balance and threw a spell at Minerva. Minerva simply absorbed the energy.
At this point it would have seemed like a victory but shortly thereafter.Minnerva was stabbed with a knife by a death eater and the death eater's apparating away. Before Voldemort disappeared, he fired a killing curse that killed Herma and Hermione's brothers in an instant.

Later that night Severus also heard the news of his first love's death. Only her son survived. Hermione survived it but was delivered to the orphanage that same night.
